I had an interesting experience here as my first time. I placed an order via phone for dinner, waited 30 minutes, walked over to the location in Palm Harbor, to find out I ordered to the wrong location. No big deal, right? The girl that I was dealing with told me since I ordered at the other location, that I needed "drive up the road to the other location". I asked if I could just reorder what I ordered and wait again at this location, she flat out said "no, that would be a waste". So I left and got a burrito next door, much nicer staff than this Gino's location.
The customer service here is beyond deplorable! The waitress actually stole my adult daughters phone after berating her in front of her 6 year old son also offering to meet her after work to settle things ‘cause she wasn’t afraid. The waitress was somewhere in the 60 year old range. This was the most bizarre experience ever! If you want to have an exceptionally crazy experience and not so great food this is the place for you! I was privy to some of the experience via phone call prior to my daughter being told to leave and her phone mysteriously disappearing only to be found shoved behind all of the condiments and usual display settings on the table, yet only after a threat to call the police and phone alert sent out by other helpful businesses in the strip mall. Bizarre Experience!! In this day and age customer service is a make or deal breaker value. Places like this where it’s the norm, read the reviews to treat people poorly should no longer be tolerated!
So decided to give it another try and nothing has changed with this dump of a place! Same rude nasty unbecoming staff. As soon as you walk in they are all in a shittty mood. Lots of attitude and poor service. Pizza slices left out all day long at room temp. rat droppings found in the dining room, food not that good, taste like it came out of the microwave, and if you call or come in close to closing time they will give you an attitude or tell you they are done for the night even though they are open for another hour. They have no business skills and the way they run a restaurant is ridiculous to say the least. They act like the customer (who is paying their salary) is a burden to them. The owner is a miserable prickk and does not care along with the rest of the employees.Unprofessional jerkoffs at best! Read the other reviews on here. It's not just me..... EVERYONE COMPLAINS ABOUT THIS MISERABLE PLACE! STAY AWAY!
We were on vacation in the area and picked up a pizza here. We got just cheese, but it was really good. Whole family loved it.
Usually go here for pizza, and it's usually excellent. Just ordered a Grandma's pizza, and it was the worst pizza I've ever had. Tomato sauce was awful. Tastes like tomato paste with way too much basil. The crust was like cardboard. Quite frankly I've had better frozen pizza from the grocery store. DO NOT order a Grandma's pizza from here. Just a terrible waste of money. Had two slices and threw the rest out.
I just tried to order a pizza there. I live a mile away. Very rude worker. Wouldnt take my order for no reason at all. Must be young kids working. Used to be good
This place is an absolute dump!!! My family was long time customers but we have since found much better pizza places around town. It looks like they leave the pizza sitting out all day long and looks very old and dry. They never have slices at night. Every other place does. If you call an hour before they close to place an order they will tell you they are closed for the night, so unprofessional and usually rude to customers. Last time myself along with family members decided to dine in the dishes were not washed very well and to top everything off one of my neighbors told me that they went to order a pizza for take out one night and they had already closed and there was a sign on the door saying that they have been reprimanded by the health department for multiple violations. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! You will thank me later!

First timer. Huge huge portion!!! I ate 10% of my shrimp & mushrooms pasta & took it home. Great price. Small place. Not crowded. New York Pizza & food. Overall great dinning experience. Highly recommend if you like Italian foods, Pizza etc. Chef salad was massive!
We used to order from here once a week. I do not know if they have new owners or what the case may be but the food has gone down hill! My daughter has had issues the last few times and wont order from there anymore but I like to stay loyal so we decided to order dinner last evening. It was a waste of money that we should have spent elsewhere. Ordered the chicken parm, it was flavorless, there was no seasoning in that sauce. Alfredo was decent. Even the garlic knots where overcooked and hard. Sad to say it but after many years as a customer we will not return to Ginos again.
