Pretty decent for my first time visiting. A little bit of cross contamination with onions appearing on one of the subs when they were not ordered. Also, wish the mushrooms weren't canned, but understand the reasoning.Owner was friendly, so worth a 2nd try overall. Hope he continues to do well.

I've been here 3 times already and I WILL be back. Good honest people and great food!! Steak and cheese is good, and you cant beat The DunDun. Highly recommended local business. Tip: join the rewards club you will be glad you did.
The people that work there are great. You can tell they take pride in the food. Service was great and the food we had was delicious. I already know what to get next time. It was a toss up between 2 things today. Also my dad had the cheesesteak and he said it was good. It looked delicious. They deserve a try, I'm sure you wont be disappointed.
My brother from another mother Ben G., mentioned Fat Jax's during our early morning gym session. I know most people don't talk about food at the gym. But my Bro and I do often. :)During my visit to Fat Jax's Sandwich Shop, Emma was very patient and polite while I was deciding what I wanted on my sub. I ordered a side of mushrooms and a Cheese Steak with extra cheese.Danny expertly prepared my sub. And he told me with smiling confidence, I would enjoy it! WOW!! Danny!!! You were absolutely right!When you're in the area drop by Fat Jax's Sandwich Shop! The food and service are awesome! I know I will return! Thank you Emma and Danny!
I saw the sub shop a few months ago when I was driving thru the plaza. They are not real close to my house but I happened to read a review the other day and thought I am going there it sounds so good. Much to my surprise I recognized the owner and knew I was going to get a good sandwich. I will be back and will spread the word to everyone how good the food is. Cheese steak subs are top notch !!!
Skip the fancy restaurant and eat here instead! I can't say enough about how amazing the food is. BEST philly in Florida, delicious and juicy burgers, homemade meatballs (they are to DIE for), yummy pickle chips, and the cheesiest mozzarella sticks. But it's more then just the food. This place has owner's that truly care and take pride in there food. They are so sweet and caring! The restaurant itself is super clean and smells amazing. MUST TRY!
Really good cheesesteak. Good meatball sub. Crispy fries. The fried mushrooms were crispy and good. Clean place, friendly people. FYI, a large is alot of food. Small cheesesteak with cheese wiz and a small fry is the way to go. Counter service, no alcohol.
