My buddy Frank just left a review but now I have to.Everything he mentioned was accurate about this place, definitely worth a drive to come here.Love the breaded chicken subs. Great portions across the board and my dog loved his burger patty!As Frank said, will be back!Give that young brunette hostess a raise!Very hard to find kind respectful younger generation these days, she deserves it!
My dad used to love this place and the reason we would go often. My husband and I have not been there much in the last few months. Pizza was great, but so much catering to the frequent patrons who only drank at the bar. I ordered a second beer and never got it, so I ordered again and he charged us for 4 beers and never brought my second. The bartender did not know how to take the 4th beer off my tab, so we ended up paying for the fourth. While sitting there twice watching the Tampa Bay Rays game - two different people changed the TV to something else without even bothering to ask the rest of us were we watching. Just poor customer service - may be a while before we go back. Also, the Air Conditioning still after all these years doesn't work that great.
Came here for lunch today for the very first time. Gotta say i love the pizza. I ordered the small cheese pizza which was plenty for me(6 slices) with garlic and feta cheese lol since im greek. I loved it! Julie the bartender was very nice and friendly and allways with a smile :) Thank you Julie for your great service! I will definitely come back with the family!
Used to frequent this place quite often as live right up Alderman. Been 3 yrs, and while they cleaned up the place, the food is mediocre, at best. I had eggplant parm, husband had wings. NO taste whatsoever. Spaghetti sauce was the worst, Cesar salad appeared to be straight from a bag...wings, NO taste. Too many local places that have good food..this is in the history books.
So..... Where do I begin? First timers. Girlfriend and I went for pizza. I ordered 2 mich ultras. No big deal. Meatball side and Buffalo shrimp same time. Got meatballs. No shrimp. Ate all the meatballs still no shrimp. Server and another server both came and asked if we got them shrimp. Lol, obviously, they took forever. No comp ! I ordered a thin crust . Pepperoni ham and onion pizza. Came out looked like it had black olive on it. Not really thin either. The ham was soo burnt. Guy came out and even asked what we got on the pizza and he thought it was black olive. I said . ... Nope, that's our burnt ham. He agreed. Still no replacement. OK, box it. I'm not eating it. He offered a discount for the burnt ham. Got check ..... military discount. Really. Discount the chec0k dude. I don't deserve a military discount. I have not served. That rubbed me wrong. Will not be back. Once and done. Sorry.
I was there today and got their pizza which was pretty good!It wasn't dry which is a huge plus for me, and had plenty of toppings as well...Also, the staff who greeted me made me feel comfortable and welcome.I most likely will return if I'm in that area!
Our first visit for lunch. Server was pleasant. Good menu choices. My Greek salad had ham on it and only one olive but it tasted fine. House dressing was good. Italian grinder could have used more spice but it was good as well. We will be back to try more.
Really good pizza! And they have Amber Boch on tap! Our favorite beer! ? we will be back!
I usually have the pizza here, but decided to try the basic cheeseburger. That was a mistake. The meat was slightly overcooked, but almost tasteless. It was clearly just plain meat, with no flavor or spice at all. The bun was apparently stale, so they grilled it to cover up, which left it stiff as a frisbee. I might have mentioned the problems, but the waiter never checked back because he was very busy.
Went on a Friday night. The outdoor patio is lovely. Live music was fun. Our server was friendly and competent. I had a cheese burger and fries which were well prepared and tasty. There seemed to be a bit of a mix up in the kitchen. The food took a long time in coming. While the cheese burgers were great, the person who ordered the fettuccini alfredo was very dissatisfied. We think his food sat under the warming lights for a while. His pasta was sticky, and was not mixed thoroughly with the sauce, and the garlic bread was crunchy.We would return; however, we will probably not order pasta here again. We'd like to try the pizza some time.
