This is my second visit while traveling from Lakeland to Jacksonville. The second trip was planned because of the experience the first time. Although busy, service was fast and friendly. Food was exceptional!
The service alone was the thing that really kicked it up a notch here. They were so polite and really did their best to ensure a great dinner for my family.
The last three times have been on point! Way to step it up! We have been guests since the grand opening, we had some mediocre experience's since then. The past three times have been excellent. The service tonight was exceptional, the steak was tender and cooked to my liking, the baked potato was just right. Keep up the good work TXRH. See you next week.

We ordered a filet medium. The first time, it came rare. Sent it back and it came back rarer. We sent it back a third time and it came back very well done. We also ordered a hamburger medium rare and it came out well done. And this isn’t the first issue of this kind we’ve had at this establishment. They need to learn how to hire cooks that actually know how to cook a steak how is ordered.
Usually pretty good. Tonight I ordered the Salmon. It came out raw. I showed the waiter. He apologized without me saying a word. The manager brought a new one out. I cut it down the middle and it was raw. She said, “ would you rather have it cooked well done?”I would have preferred it just be cooked.I just advised her to take it off my bill.
My wife and I just had dinner here while vacationing in the area. There is ample off-street parking and the place appeared to be clean/well-maintained overall. The food items we ordered were what we expected from this chain. The service however, was average at best with our having to ask our server several times for items we had ordered/requested. You will likely get a good meal at this place though I can't vouch for the service you may receive.
My wife and I have visited the Texas Roadhouse on Different occasions and on the first visit we were totally impressed but on our last three visits our opinion has severely declined. First ordered cocktails, gin and tonic, but we given gin and water and were told they had ran out of tonic. Same thing on the second and we had ordered prime rib but were brought rib eyes instead, we had waited so long that we just ate them and when we asked the waitress she said I thought you wanted rib eyes. On our last visit we ordered our gin and tonic, we told the waitress of our about our past problems with the lack of tonic water and if you were out of tonic then we did not want them. She came back to tell us you out of our brand of gin and we chose another. However, we were served gin and seltzer because the tonic was not working. So we ordered our P[me Rib after a long wait we were told that we were getting the last two slices. However they were not that good. They were not nice and red and juicing instead that were a darker color and had a LOT of fat, They actually looked like someone else had returned them and then given to us as they were cold and tough to cut. My wife get a dent in her finger trying to cut the meat. Our waitress was good but was caught in the middle. We are very disappointed in the quality of your food and drinks.
Great food and great service
Waitress was fantastic. Food was not. I asked for my sirloin medium well. It even said it on the receipt. I did not get it as you can see in the picture. The shrimp with dad's meet was cold. They brought out another one, it was mushy, the third one was cold. They got my husband's order wrong. The drinks were good. Will not be returning anytime soon.
