Awesome place to play golf! Also has a Lazy river and beautiful beach
We had a 3 bedroom condo that was very spacious. We enjoyed the beach and the pool amenities as well. Great for families.
Very judgmental, unkind staff in security & pools, some pathways are blocked due to renovations & they are not identified on the map, the cleaning staff is rude & unsafe (language barrier and they do not care). Resort management is not proactive to resolve the issues and concerns, and mitigate recurrence. Bell hops do not show up with ice when requested. When/ if they made it, the bagged ice was handed over in a very thin plastic bag (trash can liner). Staff was not accommodating. They refused to store my ice blocks in their freezer (room had no freezer compartment). My ‘renovated’ room with an ocean view ($500+ per night) had poor air circulation (hot in living area where the 2nd bed is and freezing in sleeping (king sized bed) area. There was a huge crack (poor repai job) in the new bath tub. My room key didn’t work on (4) occasions. 4 night / 5 day stay. One evening the staff ran out of key cards. I say no, I need a key. They provided one with my name written with a Sharpie, instead of the computer generated/ embossed one (security questioned me the next day about it). Staff did not tell me I should return for a replacement. Very inconsiderate guests. They would leave the resort’s towels, left over food & drink at the chairs by the pool (to hold their spot), but many didn’t return. Flys were everywhere. Minimal staff to clean up trash. Trash cans were scarce. The deck pool at The Lodge was very dirty from the corrosion off of the umbrella stands. It was like soot on my bare feet, and it stained my socks. Children, preTeens, teens were unsupervised. Kids were running rampant in the lobby while the parents visited and drank alcohol. There were 3 boys running in the courtyard; no parent in sight. 1 child was under 5 and in his underwear. All of the boys were wet from swimming. I was concerned for their safety. Since the golf course is public and so is the beach access, there is nothing to prevent folks from coming into parking garage, lobby, elevators, up into halls, lingering on lawn, etc (no key card assess required). You can be with a friend of a member or friend of a guest to use the resort, but the staff does not require them to be a registered guest with key card. Thus, many unregistered (no identification on file) on the property. We had items stolen, yet I was wrongly accused and escorted out of the pool area in front of my family (niece, her husband, and grand nieces 7 & 10 years old) as though I were a thief. Alleged, reported, interrogated, detained, but I did nothing wrong. It was quite humiliating; they singled me. I do not recommend staying here. BEWARE: some areas are for ‘members only’ even though guest pay high rates and a resort fee. The staff discriminated against me, not knowing my circumstances and past experiences. Not all disabilities are visible. I also have some health issues, so I tote many items (no pack horse) such as: changes of clothes, bathing suits, shoes, food for the day, towels, etc. They are in the hospitality business and should be kind, not judge, offer assistance, etc. NOTE: I had already made security & management aware the day prior to traumatizing event (Sheriff’s escort), yet another trigger for my PTSD.
I was seated with my wife, 2 babies and elderly parents. We weren’t told that we needed to be guests at the resort (they were sold out with no rooms available) before we were seated. The manager did not want to serve us and we had to leave. So embarrassing.
I am extremely satisfied with all the help mrs patience Adamson rendered me every step of the way. They have a good understanding of all the processes and are always receptive to my needs. Sushi bar also doubles as the Breakfast bar in the morning, The food is OK but very limited only breakfast sandwhiches and danish
We always have such a fantastic time at Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa. The entire staff including Tracey, Sam and Oliver were so warm and welcoming. We will continue to vacation here as it is truly so relaxing and beautiful.
