No doubts this is the best boiled seafood I ever tried. The combos offer a wide variety of seafood which you can combine to get your most desired plate. The corn and potato are delicious and offer you very nice bits which combine nicely with the seafood meat. On the top of that, the juicy Special sauce is dressed all over the food to give the perfect punch.Keep up the good work!
We had a lovely and delicious dinner! Our waitress was patient, kind and very attentive. We all had our different variations of the Low Country Boil, So Awesome! It was our first time there, and we’ll be back soon.
Our server was Neesie (not sure how to spell that) and she was wonderful. The service was great. (Not just Neesie, the hostess was also helpful.) The food was fun and tasted good. We definitely enjoyed the experience.
Delicious food! Big portions, so sharing is a great option to save money. The prices aren't outrageous though, we were impressed with the quality of food. They give you bibs, gloves, wetwipes and all utensils needed to get your seafood open and eaten!

If you want good seafood, don't go here. We ordered the haddock dinner and a combo dinner of scallops and shrimp. Everything in our meals were pre-made frozen food. I asked if the haddock was fresh and breaded here at the restaurant. The server wasn't sure so she went and asked. She came back and said, yes. They lied. The breading was too uniformed and flat to be fresh made. The shrimp and scallops were the same way. Each scallop was identically shaped as the next one. The hush puppies were frozen. I asked the server if the onion rings were hand-dipped, I like my O-rings, she said, I'm sure they're hand-dipped somewhere. I should have realized then this wasn't going to be good. You can do better at the local grocery store in the frozen food section. Don't waste your time and definitely your money going here and expecting quality food. There are too many other quality seafood restaurants in this area.
It's ok. Need thicker clam chowder but it was fine. The deep fried calamari was good. Could add a little spice to the breading. Will try them for dinner.. just stopped for light lunch.
Fresh food, good service, and ok atmosphere
We visited Red Crab for our first time this week, a late lunch on Sunday with friends. The establishment had a fun atmosphere and appeared to be clean. We really enjoyed the pirate statue that welcomed us. Our server, Diamond, was courteous and professional. I found the menu difficult to understand as far as what was available (I didn't realize I could order the Monday Special on Sunday and didn't understand the pricing on the combos.) That being said, my husband and I kept it simple and each ordered the Lobster Roll with regular fries. It tasted fine, but we were disappointed by the bread-to-lobster ratio. The amount of lobster was skimpy for a $21 sandwich. Our friends, who had been there previously, understood the menu and ordered seafood combinations. They receive generous amounts of food for just a few dollars more than the sandwiches. They allowed me to taste a shrimp and a mussel...Yum! Delicious! We plan to return and order a combos next time.
