Fantastic food and fabulous service. Highly recommend if your looking for authentic Portuguese cuisine… beautiful place and affordable.
I ordered food for a group of eight people. I selected Seafood Paella and Chicken Picatta, salad and cod croquettes. Everything was prepared just as I had ordered and on time. Everything was delicious. Our evening with friends was effortless and left time to really visit. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant.
What a great experience at this restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly from the moment you walked in, the food was exquisite and prompt. The place was spotless. What else can you ask for. I highly recommend this place for great service and great food
Ordered the calamari and garlic octopus appetizers. Both were very tasty but also a bit oily, particularly the octopus. Would definitely recommend saving your bread service to eat with the octopus. Neither were overcooked...nice and tender. Then had the seafood trilogy entree. It was also very good. Only comes with pasta, no veggies. The "lobster tail" is barely a prawn, overcooked, and hardly worth it. But the shrimp and scallops were both yummy. The overall flavor was quite satisfying. Not a fan of the house wines. Would prefer if they would offer BYOW service. Juan was our server and he did an excellent job. Attentive and accommodating without hovering. We will definitely return soon. One of the best meals we've had in Palm Coast.
This restaurant was recommended for a special birthday outing. What a great find!!! The restaurant is clean with linen tablecloths, the service is kind, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was exemplary. I am so pleased. Be sure to make reservations. We came in on a Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm and was filled by 6:30 pm.
One of the best restaurants I've been to in Palm Coast. The steak was cooked to perfection with a wonderful sauce. The octopus was out of this world. I've never had octopus cooked that well before. Will be back many times. Friendly staff and nice space. Must try!
We picked this place for a nice dinner with 3 couples based on TA reviews, and the experience was a mixed bag. To begin with the price point on the menu, and the on line pictures lead you to believe that the ambiance will be much nicer than it is. It's in a strip mall, and is just a couple dozen tables laid out with good quality linens and tableware. There is no over all design or decor, and some of the tables are right by the front door and you have to walk past them to get to the host station, would truly suck to get stuck there, luckily we didn't. So if you not paying for ambiance you should be getting top shelf quality on food, flavor profiles and plating when you're talking $25-$35 a plate right? And some of the dishes were worth it. The Cod Fritters that my sister ordered as a Starter were considered to be extraordinary. My brothers Pork Ossobuco and my Lamb Shank were both very good and worth the price of admission (although the sides, in particular the vegetables, were lack luster). Some of the entrees were down right disappointing. My wife's Tuna (a special) was really thin, maybe a half inch thick, but that's being generous. My Sister in law had the Pichana Steak which was virtually inedible. We sampled a few deserts (coconut Flan and Chocolate Mouse) and those were excellent value, as well as excellent flavor and execution. Dinner for 6, with 2 Starters, 6 Entrees, 2 Desserts, and I think 1 Bar Drink left us with a tab around $325 (tax and tip included). We wanted it to be more than it was but it wasn't the worst either.
I just want to say that this restaurant is not like it used to be the food is definitely not as good I had 3 shrimps 3 scallops and a small Lobster Tail with some pasta that was flavorless and that was $35.95. I told my server that today was also my Birthday when he told me Happy Mother's Day but at the end of our meal no one came and offered me a dessert or sang Happy Birthday to me. And to make matters worse they added the tip 20% and we ALSO added more tip on top of it we added an additional 20% which they already added inclusive on the check, not sure why we only had a party of six, we didn't notice it until we looked at the bill later on. BUT this also tops the issues with this visit: I called and spoke to Jason the Manager to advise I may be 10-15 late since we were coming from Jacksonville and he flat out said if we weren't there on time for our Reservation he could not hold the table, I'm done!!! Another issue regular French Fries instead of the Tradituonal Portuguese Round Potato Fries.
Mixed Picadinho and Pork OssaBuco were truly outstanding meals. This is a family-owned , authentic Portuguese style restaurant. I haven't seen another like it in my Florida travels. The service was friendly and prompt. Don't miss this place.
Very disappointed. The environment is nice. When olives and bread came, we higher the expectations, because was really good.Cod snack was ok, nothing wow, missing salt.We order the steak medium, it came well done. French fries were good.Stuffed mushroom was disappointing. Taste nothing. And expensive. The order of garlic octopus was horrible. Extremely oily and was mixed with other thing, probably belly/guts..Bad experience.
