Chey was the best server. Very attentive on top of everything. Food was good as always.

My family and I have been eating here since it first opened and it has always been consistent and good. They offer a nice variety of options. I've never been disappointed.

Metro Diner's used to be really good across the board. Good food, good service, good atmosphere. As they've expanded they've lost a lot of their edge. The food is still reliably good, the service varies from average to horrible and the atmosphere is less "home town" and more Disney-esque (as in a fiction representing something that was once real - like Main Street USA in a Disney Park). We had breakfast here on our way out of town. We were not greeted by anyone and stood by the front doors for a good 5 minutes before a waitress grabbed us and put us at a table. There were a few open tables but they were turning over fast on a busy Sunday morning. Our server was efficient and managed to get back to us a few times to keep our coffee warm and to check on our food, but clearly was covering too much floor space. Staffing is clearly an issue. The food was all good but even with a coupon that knocked 50% off the price of one breakfast, it still cost $25 for 2 people to eat Breakfast, which is simply too even in today's inflationary market. Without the coupon it would have been over $30, come on.....no one makes eggs that good.

Your move to change the small home fries is poor. We can get this poor home fries at BOB EVANS. Its OK to change the price but do not change price and quality. Why do you think we like METRO don't muck it up. Bring the old potatoes back.
This place is awesome- the staff are professional and polite. The food is very good, you will not go wrong with any selection. The chicken and waffles is a must have! The strawberry flavored butter is so good.
Food was delicious. Eggs cooked correctly. Pancakes awesome. Service was outstanding! Server's name was Cheyenne. She was very attentive. Quick to take drink order. Made sure the drinks were kept filled. Made sure the meal was correct and what we asked for. Made sure we had everything we needed. Always had a smile. Numerous tables going at once and was damn good at it. Bottom line, she ran her a$$ off!
Great service and incredibly diverse southern cooking. Place could have been a bit cleaner (but wasn't too bad) and the tomatoes I received were the extreme ends (all skin). They would have happily brought replacements but that they actually let the plate or that way was of interest.Still rates a full 4 stars and is well worth the trip and visit!
My partner and I are regulars and go about once a week (sometimes 2) nice friendly staff. Food is great. You get a lot for your money. They recently removed onion rings from the menu. Hoping they bring back the onion rings because they were excellent. Otherwise good place to go for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
