Renee was our excellent server! In a world of poor restaurant service, La Piazza does it right!!! The food was amazing as always..... so fresh, prepared perfectly, and so delicious! We have never been disappointed here. ??❤️❤️
My husband and I were staying at Hammock Dunes on a short “get away” for our anniversary. We chose to eat at La Piazza, in European Village, for the first time in several years, because of COVID. We sat inside in a lovely “romantic” room, with Crystal chandeliers and white chairs. The waitress was very friendly & efficient. . The menu is awesome! It lights up so it is easy to read- love it! We ordered a bottle of wine, & chose the “pasta special” of the evening-grilled scallops served on a bed of ravioli, garnished with sun dried tomatoes & a cream sauce. I ordered a salad first, which I enjoyed. Unfortunately the entree was not edible. It looked like a bowl of pasta drenched in a “gooey glumpy” yellow sauce. The scallops were OK, but the raviolis stuck together. We both got ours “to go”, & also ordered 2 spaghetti dishes “to go”, one with Bolognese & one with Puttanesca sauce. When we got home the next day I put the “gluey” pasta in a colander and rinsed off all of the cream/cheese sauce, which tasted like flour. I added my own sauce, “jazzed up”the sun dried tomatoes, and added a few scallops. sautéed in olive oil & garlic. The other two pasta dishes were very good as they were prepared, & we enjoyed that meal. We will definitely return, because I believe that one “hic up” should not change our opinion that the food at La Piazza is very good, the service is “spot on”, & it has a unique quaint “Italian vibe”.

We’ve been coming here since it’s doors opened 16 years ago. Superior service, amazing meals, casually inviting ambiance and just feels comfortable. Thanks to Jojo our server for attentive care and the entire staff for excellence.
Used Trip Advisor to find a great place for our 47th anniversary while visiting Palm Coast. La Piazza didn't disappoint. Eggplant palm was superb. Garlic veal dish was great. Lots of wines and easy to pick a good one...served at cellar temp, too. The atmosphere is "old school" Italian...like a place that's been there for 100 years and never changes. Reminded me of places in North Beach, San Francisco...lots of wine. But we knew it was a really great place when our waiter welcomed us. He was charming to say the least...a really, really nice guy. Engaging. I can't say enough about his personality, his attention to detail, and his advice. His name is Kory. Ask for him if they let you. You will want to go back to this place. They enjoy their work.
Listen...If you haven't been to this area let alone this restaurant you are missing out. European village is the best place for a nice time out or date night in general...from shops to coffee to food... amazing. To top it off, this restaurant is everything you want and hope for with Italian cuisine! I work for a company that hosts seminars in the area and we use this restaurant all the time throughout the year. Best service ever... dropping a few names Larry & Larry Jr, Jo Jo, Rene, etc.. the list goes on. They make you feel at home when you come in and part of their Italian family. We use the wine room for our events and it is perfect for parties of 20+. Highly recommend if you need a pretty Italian spot for a party of any sort..They also have seating outside on nice days and it truly is a treat. I want to sincerely thank all the staff and managers for the service with our company. We visited here for first time tonight. My birthday dinner. It was delicious. Outstanding Customer Service and authentic Italian food. We will be visiting again very soon. A great Experience.
We booked their private room for a retirement / birthday party for my mom and everything was wonderful. The room was beautifully decorated and had ample room for our group. The food was delicious. Our servers, Jojo and Nikki, were great, very hospitable, great service, friendly. The timing of everything from apps, to salad, dinner, desserts was perfectly timed. We were very pleased with our event. I highly recommend them for a special party or a nice dinner.
Wow. Everything was delicious. For appetizers We had the special “lobster bruschetta.” And Funghi Ripiene. And Capresso salad. For dinner Boscaiola Rigatoni with sautéed mushrooms, cripsy pancetta in Parmesan cream sauce tossed with fresh peas. And the desert toasted almond amaretto cake was “life changing “ as Hillary our waitress promised. ! We will be back!
