Everything was really delicious. The kitchen had a slightly heavy hand on the oil with the truffled pasta. I/we have had it several times before and actually went to get that dish last night. It was really good, but not as creamy and a little too oily last night for some reason
My husband and I went there to celebrate our anniversary. We were very pleased. Since it was a Swedish restaurant we ordered all of the Swedish meals (meatballs. Beef Rydberg and sirloin Swedish style). Everything was cooked to perfection and the wine was delicious and the service was great. I loved the chill music in the background and the chairs were very comfortable. We will definitely go back and recommend it to our friends. ðð»ðð»ðð»

Love sitting at the bar. Bartender was attentive and gracious. Food, overall, was very good. Tuna tartare appetizer fell a little flat; it should be served with toast points or similar. Salmon and Cod entrees were excellent. Drinks were on point.

This was our first time dining at Waxins. We were looking for some place different. We absolutely loved it. Ashley was our server as was just lovely. Zach assisted her in taking care of us and we really enjoyed discussing different wines with him. We will definitely go back!!

Saturday night dinner for 2. Nice atmosphere, decor and impeccable service. Salad with shrimp had the small, tiny shrimp. While they are bite size and can be mixed easily into the salad those shrimp are not as tasty as large ânormalâ sized shrimp. Swedish meatballs were tasty and filling. Bread would have been nice (not that I need notes carbs). House wine (Cab and Merlot) were also very good. Iâd go back. Good vibe. Great service.
Spectacular! I can't recall the last time I've left a meal with the biggest smile. I learned about this place when I won a gift certificate in a drawing, and I saved the certificate for a special occasion. My parents' wedding anniversary is on my mom's birthday so it was the perfect occasion. We started out with some cocktails and the tomato bisque as the appetizer, delicious! We ordered the food next. My dad got the chicken rigatoni, and my mom and I got the chicken breast. My mom 'made it swedish' adding the potatoes and green beans wrapped in bacon with bearnaise sauce. I am low carb/keto, so they accommodated my diet with the green beans and leafy greens with my chicken and the bearnaise sauce. Also scrumptious! We also had this lovely Pinot noir from Oregon with our meal. We usually finish large meals with espresso. The very charming waiter (Oscar) recommended the hot shot - my parents and I never do shots and I'm terrible at doing shots, but this was smooth and tasty for all of us. Dessert was the Smokey along with a dessert with a candle that they brought for my mom's birthday to make a wish. It was a fantastic meal and my parents and I agreed it could have been the best dining experience we've ever had. It definitely transports you back to the fine European dining. We will be back!
