I had a blast great times and great places!
They cleaned the place up a LOT when they were shut down during covid. They no longer allow smoking inside, though smokers can still enjoy their cigarettes out front. Gabe is an amazing bartender, & David is the best karaoke DJ in town (Friday and Sunday nights). The crowd is diverse and friendly. The drinks are great, the food is tasty, & the atmosphere is perfect for a small bar. Pool tables in the back, different events throughout the week. I love Swampgrass ?
We spent 5 days vacationing in W Palm Beach, escaping 20F in Michigan. We wanted to hang out at a local dive bar, grab some PBRs and sing karaoke. We got lucky that I found Swampgrass Willy's! Got there early on Friday... kinda quiet so we were worried... we played darts, played pool, downed some PBRs and bourbon (good prices!) until the Karaoke began and by then the place was humming. We sang (on stage), we applauded, we had a blast!!! They told us there was a live band the next day, so we went again on Saturday. We had a blast singing along with Gutterfish. They started with a couple of acoustic songs to warm us up and then rocked the place with Duran Duran, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, Led Zep, Police, and more. I would give them 6 stars!

I'm originally from Fairbanks, Alaska and began to get homesick after several weeks in Florida visiting family. Me and my fiance began searching for a bar that seemed like our favorite bar back home and we found the perfect place at Swampgrass Willys. We came here for Karaoke, which is our favorite thing to do at our local watering hole and we weren't disappointed. I'm by no means a good singer, but the crowd treated me like I was Mick Jagger after every song and it made me feel like I was sitting at home next to my closest friends. I had read a previous review where someone had said they entered as strangers and left feeling as though they were regulars and I couldn't agree more. Thank you Curtis and Gabe for being top notch bartenders, and thank you David for being an incredibly welcoming karaoke host. And of course thank you to all the patrons who made us feel like we were long lost friends. We look forward to coming back in a year from now!
The place is cleaner than the pictures. The people are friendly as all get out. Staff is amazing. Reminds me of some cool haunts out in Bushwick. What are you waiting for?

Gabriel is a great host, bar tender and cook. Felt right at home. North Carolina Dip is a tasty choice.
