It's hard to reconcile my experience with a higher-end restaurant in the heart of Palm Beach Gardens. Surprised no sushi was available, despite Moon Thai having a full menu (I called while awaiting service). No water, no silverware except a fork, one napkin per setting, lights out in half the dining area, very basic preparation mean despite premium price, no desert or cocktails being offered, and a waiter whop lacked polish. Dining for three cost $110 with no alcohol, but would be maybe $45 at Pei Wei. While I understand there are supply shortages and such, forbthe tike being I recommend staying away.

Long wait for main seating area. No sushi chef so nothing in terms of sushi or fresh fish available. No bar tender. Draft beer not cold. Not what I was hoping for the special occasion.

The order came short of salad, which was included and different soup. I call before I ordered to make sure they do have everything what I want to order. I call them to strength this up and the manager said it is like it is and didn't fix that, Now I know why the place is empty when all the other restaurant around are full.We will try to avoide the place . Pls note - Salad is not included in their to go orders and the prices are the same as it is was part of the order. For to go orders- you get MUCH less food for ex. 2 shrimps instead of like 6-7. But prices are the same which is a total rip off.

Horrible people!Called in 30mins before going and asked if i can have a table to my self for a Party of 7. They said yes come right in, when i got there the manager said they won’t honor what the hostess said and it doesn’t matter what she said because he overrides her on the chain of command. Horrible people who lie to there customers because he has the power to.

First of all they set us to a dirty table, the plates was nasty and dirty, the soup was cool the soda was flat and when I ask to speak to a manager, he came out with an attitude and said we can leave instead of making his customers happy. I will never go back to that place

We went today for a lunch with family and you know we go here for the experience, Which include good service. From the beginning we notice something was off, no wifi and no sushi. The server had a smile but was persistently trying to get me to buy from the kid's menu when I wanted to share my portion with them ( and would agree with the extra charge), her treatment, her ways of explaining just the whole experience was rather uncomfortable, she was not disrespectful, but in this kind of restaurant, that the experience is part of the product, having that kind of service was disappointing. Even asking her for extra silverware seems to set her off and make you feel like if you should not do that. On the other hand, the cook had a great attitude; his performance alone set a different mood, and the food was good.

Tried this restaurant with family and had a very disappointing experience. They seemed to be understaffed so we were prepared to be patient. We endured poor service like refills on drinks forgotten and some never coming (despite repeatedly reminding the server) and steak being undercooked. Our hibachi chef, who was very nice, disappeared for minutes apparently to retrieve missing ingredients. All of this was hopefully due to understaffing. The issue that really bothered us was that 18% gratuity was automatically added to our check and the server did not inform us of this. I added the usual 20% not knowing that tip was already included and the server still did not inform me even though she was hovering over while I tapped the 20% option. Then she conveniently neglected to give me a receipt while giving one to the other persons paying at the table. She was clearly trying to double dip on the gratuity. I asked for the manager and had him remove the 18% and still left the server 20 but will never be back. BEWARE if you go here!!!!

This is a very good Japanese resturant. I have been eating here for over 10 years. This place has withstood the test of time. Eating at a habachi resturant is always a change of pace. Try something different, variety is the spice of life.

The hibachi is great & the miso soup was amazing!! Went here for my birthday and they accommodated my entire family well. Drinks were good but weak barely tasted any alcohol otherwise I would go back again!

Was hoping for hibachi, but only one chef and no bartender for lunch so no bar drinks could be ordered. But still good food and decent service. Not what I would expect from a place like Saito's but it was passable.
