This restaurant has an excellent vibe with excellent music. Vibrant lively place to spend an evening. Unfortunately the service was not the best but i understand it could have been an isolated experience. We were a party of 5 and entrees were delivered sometimes 30 minutes apart. Food was pretty generic also. The vibe was so pleasant that I would repeat an outing in this place despite the rest of my review.
Still on my search for a good, fresh seafood restaurant. Not my first time at Lola’s, but this was my first visit to this location. I originally planned on dining in, but it’s pretty dark and has an uninviting atmosphere. You could possibly sit by a window but still not much ambiance here. I placed a to go order for shrimp tacos. The portion was huge! The tacos were loaded: cheese, jalapeños, salsa, sour cream on the side and you received two sides (I got fries and coleslaw). This looked more like a dinner plate to me. The tacos were actually delicious BUT not what I expected. I was looking for something a little lighter, less toppings, fresh shredded lettuce and a light dressing/topping. It wasn’t what I imagined for a seafood restaurant. That was a pretty heavy lunch. But anyway, I didn’t see anything else I wanted from the menu- most of their other selections were fried foods. I’ll try the lobster roll next time for lunch since that seems to be one of the few items that aren’t fried on the menu.
I had a craving for a lobster roll and this popped up kind of near the airport, so we swung by.The ladies here are super friendly and lovely. You can dine in or take out. But for dine in, you order and pay at counter first, they’ll give you a number and bring food over to your table.Clam Chowder: Personally not a fan of clams, but it is most tolerable in a chowder. And safe to say Lola’s chowder is pretty good!Lobster rolls: you can order with light coat of mayo or tossed in butter, we got both for *science*. (Mayo won). Both was delicious and they really pile on the lobster claws for the rolls. The order also comes with side of salad or fries (we were able to swap out regular fries for sweet potato fries as well).Beignets: get them.
This restaurant requires you to order at a counter and then the food is brought to your table. The food is delicious
Always amazing food when I come here, I usually go to the one in Stuart near where I live but went to a lunch meeting to try this one out and again, I was not disappointed. Customer service is always top notch and the food is always made to the highest quality. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to get a delicious seafood plate.
I love your salads and food, there is only one thing that I would love to mention. Please have other substitute for green beans, not everyone can eat green beans, maybe steem veggies or just salad as an option. I had to eat my salmon with just rice. You take the green beans or you don't take anything else for the same price. Other than that , great food.
first lobster roll! was delicious, would recommend to locals & tourists!
I am giving 3 stars based purely on the food as the service was wonderful. The fish tacos tasted as if something was maybe wrong with the fish, so the nice ladies replaced it with fish and chips which was delicious. The conch fritters however were over cooked and rubbery. Probably wouldn’t eat here again as the prices were very high for what we got but again good service so for the service maybe.
Delicious and fresh food. Had the cod sandwich and salad. Great customer service.
Lola’s was an absolutely delicious food experience. The seafood and fish comes in fresh several times per week and it absolutely shows. The food is cooked perfectly and the nice lady running Lola’s is worth her weight in gold. She keeps the place exceptionally clean. The portions are huge making the value for what you’ve paid exceptional. I have eaten at several seafood places in PBG, Lola’s is far and away the best. People should know that they will run out of items from time to time, and that’s because they get their stuff in fresh. This is a good sign that they turn over items quickly ensuring you always get the freshest seafood possible. I’ve been in the seafood business for my whole life and I am so impressed with Lola’s. It compares to all the top notch seafood places in New England. The people running it should be extremely proud.
