Best chocolate ? ? Clean and friendly faces. Kids love it!

I was looking some place that sold gourmet apples (particularly turtle caramel apples) during my trip. Though they didnt have a large selection, I did find this pecan caramel apple. They were nice enough to cut it for me since I was staying in a hotel without any utensils. Unfortunately, due to hotel mishaps, I wasn't able to eat it immediately (hence the browning) so it didn't taste as good as it probably would have been if I had eaten it right after it had been cut. But, it still was pretty tasty.

Absolutely, phenomenally delicious. The minute you walk in the door you smell chocolate. There are a few cute little tables set up along the window. Perfect for a coffee date, or an afternoon treat.

Great spot for ice cream. All of our cups were delicious. And they have treats for dogs. Thanks for the great service & ice cream.

Just had a wonderful experience at Hoffmans chocolates on military and PGABRITTANY took great care of me and made a special box of dark chocolates.Thank you so muchGreg

You can't go wrong with a Hoffman's chocolate. Huge selection and prepackaged gift items as well. Lots of delicious bark chocolates, candies with nuts and the truffles looked amazing. It will become a regular stop after eating lunch in the plaza.

Hoffman's is a classic. The only place to get chocolate in PB County. I have childhood memories of going to see the Christmas display in lake Worth. No Easter, Valentine's Day, birthday or any other festivity goes by without Hoffman's. It's a staple of SOFLO!

A real hit with the kids on a hot day

We attended a chocolate making class and we had a blast. It was a very friendly and open environment.

Hoffmann's is a local South Florida chocolate maker (founded in 1975 and currently headquartered in Greenacres) who has, I believe, seven locations in the Miami - Dade metro area that extends all the way to Northern Palm Beach County. They make and sell their own homemade chocolate and also carry a selection of ice cream (at least at this Palm Beach Gardens location on Military Trail). The chocolates and truffles here are more moderately priced than they are at a well-known international chocolate purveyor that begins with a "G" as well as another locally franchised national seller that begins with a "K."They sell the usual classic assortment of caramels, creams, jellies, nuts and other filled chocolates along with a selection of larger truffles and sugar-free candies. They're all quite good but among my favorites are the chocolate covered raspberry jellies that taste like they're actually made with real raspberry juice. The fruit creams are okay, but the chocolate covered pineapple is fantastic, as well. I suppose you need to find your own favorite. Still, it's nearly impossible to lose when the store smells as sweet and delectable as it does.
