We had a delicious brunch on a Monday, late morning with balmy temperatures and sunny skies. I was visiting my Aunt and Uncle and you couldn’t ask for better outside seating near the water, until some maintenance man near the door started using a very loud machine. It went on for at least 20 minutes. My advice to management is don’t allow any type of loud work to be done at your establishment that will bother your guests while they are dining. Your food was delicious! I had the quiche, my uncle had French Toast and Asparagus and my Aunt had eggs and some bacon.

The food is solid 4.7. DELICIOUS! And the food looked like the pictures on the menu. Perfect made eggs, delicious bacon. The service was lovely. Restaurant itself could use a little sprucing up - as it’s not as welcoming as you’d expect with the outstanding food! Kudos to the chef. We will definitely be back. One very minor complaint- the water was not good. Perhaps worse than bad. Not sure if filtration system needs added, upgraded or changed- but it was almost not drinkable. HOWEVER, the coffee was out of this world. For real, the food, service and coffee more than make up for the little issues. We will be back!

The only reason I’m not deducting a star is because the food was amazing, the portions were large, and the staff was VERY friendly. However, we were at the restaurant for an hour before we got up to get someone to take our order. But the eggs Benedict with the salmon was phenomenal I highly recommend it!

This is a beautiful little gem right next to carmine's. You can walk through the restaurant to the back patio and overlook the yachts and water. The food is fresh and delicious. Make sure to have cash! They charge you a percents for using credit card. I really liked it and would love to see them expand their menu.

Alex and the staff are so kind, the brunch is lovely. Cozy spot.

For the first time, PBS’s Check Please, South Florida failed me. Failed me miserably. And with out of town special guests, too, which added insult to injury. Beyond the service and the cold food, the most irritating fact was the CASH MENU. No mention of this at all on the website or web reviews. I don’t like paying fees. Would have brought cash if I had known. Is that the new standard? And on a $70 check for a breakfast for four, I’m especially angry at the fees.As for the rave Angry Moon Café reviews, I’m not sure what European bistros these rave reviewers have visited but I can say that from my experience, Angry Moon needs major lessons in quality and food descriptions. The positive reviews say, “Best Breakfast I’ve Ever Had”? For real? The first failure was calling their bread "French Baguettes". See the image I’ve posted and know that this is what a French Baguette should look like except sometimes wider to accommodate sandwiches. Baguette dough breathes. Authentic baguettes possess a crunchy crust and soft fluffy crumb with a mild yeast flavor. Angry Moon's “French baguette”, served at a $3 price tag, was more like a grocery sub roll with no air, denseness, flavorless and cold when served. The icy butter patties wrapped in foil, and the cold raspberry jam (not fresh) could not save the bread option. And no proper bistro serves butter patties like that and only fresh jams and jellies.I could oversee the slow service for an early Saturday morning, as long as coffee or tea was available so we could chat. However even when we were finally brought coffee . . . which was rich and delicious . . . it was cold because no cream, no milk and no sugars available. A very young and very kind service team was stretched way too thin, and angry patrons from outside interrupted their flow to other tables. The Kitchen certainly didn’t help matters by taking so unnecessarily long with preparation. The restaurant was only 1/3 full capacity so patrons' understanding of why so slow reached boiling angry for some.As for the food quality, preparation and presentation, take heed Angry Moon Café Management:• PAIN PERDU was cold and mushy almost like it was reheated in the microwave. The bacon was cold too.• TOASTED FRENCH BAGUETTE. See comments above. Biggest disappointment of the meal.• SIDE OF BACON was cold when delivered and $5.95 for 2 strips is vulgar.• SPINACH & FETA OMELETTE was actually good but no fresh egg taste. Fresh spinach and the tomatoes worked very well as opposed to some preparations where it can be stringy and too wet. Kitchen listened to my request for “easy on the feta” so that was appreciated.• TASTE TWISTER CREPE was delivered about 10 minutes after everyone else’s plate. Hence our food being cold when my guest dug into her crepe. It was delicious according to her but not outstanding. This young lady has been to Europe and dines out at good and bad restaurants so I trust her taste buds. I chose Angry Moon with her in mind. I expected something great with the reputation and reviews.I waited 3 days to write this review to see if I was just overreacting. Nope. Right now IHOP trumps Angry Moon Café and I REALLY do NOT like IHOP. Shameful.

Great spot. Breakfast was wonderful but our waiter missed several things we asked for including if the hollandaise was gluten free. By the time we finally got an answer ( three people later) it was cold and clumpy.

Very good breakfast and lunch. Be prepared to wait, they are busy and relaxed, you aren't rushed. Prices are OK. Food choices are excellent.

What a treat! A friend of mine took me for lunch and I was wowed! We ordered Eggs Benedict: the hollandaise sauce, perfection; the salmon, high quality; the presentation of the dish, fabulous. Service is slow but it’s ok if you want to enjoy more time in the patio overlooking the canal and beautiful boats and yachts. I took a glimpse at the kitchen: not clean but oh well, the food is amazing! One last thing, they need to fix the ladies bathroom sink since it doesn’t work.

Short staffed, no manager in site......... waited 25 minutes after we were sat down.... no service....... after ordering coffee and water waited another 25 minutes for that order to come....... will not go back...... place is small and dark and not very clean looking, more like a storage place for their speakers and water boxes.... terrible.
