Our dinner was terrific. Our waitress Mary was wonderful. Definitely recommended this place. Good food and good music.
Nice atmosphere. However waited 45 min everytime I ordered 2 crab legs on all you can eat. !! Was told only 1 pot for them. I think wednesdays they need 2 pots to heat them up. Only need to heat up 10 min in water. The manager never came to speak to me . I saw the owner and spoke to him he went to check on kitchen. That was it. Wont be going for crab legs again if it takes 3 hours for 6 clusters.
they always have great bands and the food is amazing!!
Extremely slow service I was at the bar to order a drink nothing in hand , they ignored me and all the men walked up right away and got served with beer in hand . Then when I asked the bartender she said she would have to get someone else but did not Had to walk out.
Lovely view, live music, and reasonable prices. I had the Seafood Melt appetizer (a little expensive but quite tasty) and the fried haddock entrée and happy hour discounted beer. It was all very nice in a relaxed atmosphere sitting right on the ocean, with a great singer. I would definitely go back again, maybe on a Tuesday next time for the AYCE fried fish special I saw on the menu.
This was our very first time to Melbourne, FL. Selecting The Shack for dinner was the best decision. The food & atmosphere was amazing, just what we were looking for. We could not have had a better server, Raymond was top notch! He constantly checked in on us, very informative about the menu, and had such a great personality! A very fun evening and would definitely recommend to everyone! If ever back in Melbourne, FL we will go back to The Shack!
4 of us ate dinner here tonight. The waitress, Mary, was very good and attentive. The food was good, except one meal was incomplete and the rest of the food came out after our friend was mostly finished with his meal. Overall, we had a good meal here.
We were sat quickly, no one in the place. We sat for 10 minutes before a waitress came to our table. We ordered iced tea, mine no lemon, his with lemon. Many, many minutes later she returned with two iced teas, both with no lemon. We then sat for 15 minutes before she came back to get our order. We ordered and asked for more tea and the bread that is supposed to be brought to all tables. She did bring the bread. The teas were brought to the table. I looked at my brothers tea and said, "don't drink that". The lemon was rotten and oozing. It was disgusting. When our food arrived my fries looked very dark brown. They were not over cooked, but cooked in very old oil. I cooked my way thru college. The fish also had a bad taste, I suspect due to the oil. For a pricy place the service and food was terrible. Do not eat here!!!!
Great atmosphere right on the riverfront, fast service, great happy hour & delicious food!
We go here regularly... Drinks and music are great...food...bad. Actually sent back something that was bad and "chef" had audacity to send it back and said that's how it is. Menu has grown and food quality has gone down. I won't eat anything here again. Ever.
