The food is fantastic. The staff is very welcoming .a bit of bar atmosphere and family friendly at the same time ..most of all I love that it's non smoking
I was absolutely amazed with our service today. My husband and I found the Broken Barrel Tavern while searching online for a good food place for dinner and were not disappointed in the service or food. Our server, Damian, helped us pick out the best bang for our buck and we were extremely impressed. The ribs were to die for and were bursting with flavor. We will be sure to be back!

Remembered BB, so we walked all the way down from the other end. It smelled so good, place was packed! Stood at the hosting stand, nobody was there, so decided to go sit at the bar. My friend wanted to sit at a table, and about that time a guy was walking by. We asked him about a table, and he said no, we close at 9. It was 845, the place was packed with people eating and drinking, so I said ok, could we sit at the bar and have a one drink? He said no, we're waiting for these people to leave and going home. So... Okay, 9:00, I get that. In the 15-30 minutes it would have taken us to sit at the bar, have a drink, and be out the door, they still would not have been able to have all those tables finish eating, leave, clear the tables, do the dishes (because you can't leave them) and finish what you need to do. Dilemma...it was 845, and there was no need to be rude, curt and nasty. It's a shame, went to Chili's in the plaza instead, could have stayed at the 1st place we went to.... but won't ever go back to the Broken Barrel. I get closing at 9, but you can't have an inhospitable staff in the hospitality industry
The restaurant was crowded, very noisy and dark. I ordered the pulled chicken and it was dry. The bourbon Bbq Sauce was watery and a very small portion. The sweet potatoe fries were VERY GOOD! Enjoyed the key lime pie.
Check out the bark on these ribs! Went on Wednesday for the all you can eat ribs special. All you can eat ribs plus all you can eat sides. Sides are housemade and delicious. Dry rubbed ribs. Large assortment of sauces. Needless to say I didn't go home hungry. Our server was cheerful and helpful. Everything came out piping hot and delicious. My husband shows a combination barbecue platter. He was very happy with everything.
We were a party of six. We were a group of ole' timers who went to High School together back in the day and were there for a reunion "of sorts". We all got together for some food, drinks, and to talk about the good ole' days. While the food and drinks were fine, it was just too noisy to talk. We basically decided to leave early and get together the next day . . . and we did.
Best ribs I’ve had in Palm Bay hands down. Great waitress as well! Then we were offered a taste of their wings… Well, they also were the best ones I ever had anywhere . Our new fav. Highly recommend.
Whent there for the UConn, woman's basketball game, elite 8,,4of us, food was pretty good & happy hour drink's were very reasonable,I would definitely go back to this place
Probably some of the best smoked wings in brevard. Combine that with unique blends of sour beers and ciders makes for great food and drink. Fun atmosphere and plenty of TVs to watch the games.
Everyone is great there and also very patient, knowing we WILL bring all the kids up and hang out(forever). The food is always on point and so is the service. We love Ben and Eric!!
