very great food prices menu and a great staff nice country home cooking couldn't ask for a better place for breakfast and lunch

My husband & I went to Dottie's because we were in the area. Best decision ever! I had the liver & onions- delicious, and my husband had the pot roast special (very tender) with fried okra and onion rings. My husband said you know you have a good onion ring when you can bite clean through it. Would definitely come again and will tell friends about it.

This is that great kind of restaurant where a group of local older gentlemen go every morning and sit and have breakfast. Delicious food and I loved sitting there listening to their banter! Reminded me of a good old fashioned country restaurant, great, friendly service and my breakfast was literally in front of me 3 minutes after I ordered it! Definitely support this gem of a local business, prices are extremely reasonable and I’ll be back again. So glad Cracker Barrel didn’t open until 7:00 am which made me look for an alternative and so glad I found it!

Dottie's is a great hole in the wall breakfast and lunch spot. Friendly staff and great food!

Biscuits and gravy was excellent. Waitress very attentive. Relaxed atmosphere. Priced right.

Always good home cooking! Country dinner. My go to diner for many years now. ?

If you are like me, you sometimes get tired of the cookie cutter chain restaurants, but you go there anyway if you are after a quick lunch, etc. I really love places that may be off the beaten path especially those that the locals frequent. Well, we found another one! We had an appointment close by to this place and I reviewed what other fellow TripAdvisors said about Dottie's. Lots of good reviews, and the prices looked good as well, so this was today's lunch place! We arrived I think between the late breakfast people and before the lunch people. Actually, I think they may serve breakfast late or maybe all day. Well, we wanted lunch. I thought at first a sandwich or a burger, but the reviews steered me and my wife elsewhere! Now I have never had Country Fried Steak or Chicken Fried Steak, and I noticed that the former was on the menu and was enjoyed by a lot of others. Okay that was my pick with fries and fried okra. My wife ordered the pot roast with mashed and green beans. Our server seemed to eagerly agree with our choices! Well, we were both in for a treat. My Country Fried Steak came with a steak knife, but it was so tender you could cut it with a butter knife! It was so good! Our server asked if I wanted some Ranch Dressing for my okra. Hmm! Don't get okra up north, so I asked her if that was how people eat it, and she said yes! A nice addition to my meal for sure. Fries were long, crispy outside and tasty! I was totally delighted with my choice! Wifey's pot roast was really great. No knife necessary! Actually, seemed to melt in your mouth! Green beans were fresh and mashed were great as well. She got a good old Southern Bisquit with her meal too which was excellent. She enjoyed her meal as well! The restaurant filled up fast, and I can see why. We had plenty to eat. Staff was very friendly as well. All in all, a great experience that is inviting us to come back again! I am sure that we will!

Hadn't been there in two years because im a snowbird and covid travel restrictions. I sat down and Taundra who served me from before walked up with my usual drink order and said welcome back!!

Good hot food and friendly staff. I will be back!
