The garlic steak burger is greatHowever the royal burger is my favorite. Oh and delicious cherry cokes!
It's much better than any other fast food. The sandwich and french fries ? are delicious!!! The customer service is good too. I highly recommend it.
At the risk of sounding old ?? Steak ‘n Shake has really gone downhill. The service is nonexistent now. They plop your tray down and yell your number and walk away.SNS has never been a “clean” place but wow it feels like you need a tetanus shot at SNSs now.SNS ownership clearly doesn’t care about the customer anymore (if ever). I won’t spend my money here anymore. IMO you shouldn’t either. Freddy’s is a much better option. Do yourself a favor and skip SNS. Not just this one. All of them.
I'm depressed so I want to break my diet because the baby daddy broke my heart taking my son away from me and I had to go to the worse food to make my self feel better can you believe that and I order a kids meal with a cotton candy shake I memory of my son that I dad took away from me our homework day and our skate night. .
Didn’t realize that Steak ‘n Shake changed their business model. They are a counter service restaurant more akin to fast food now. Gone are the waiters and waitresses. You order at a touch-screen kiosk now and pick up your order when called. Sadly you can’t seem to get flavored coke syrups in your drinks like before (goodbye Vanilla Coke). The change was certainly a surprise, but the food remains good.
Entree Salads are no longer available. Decaf coffee is no longer available. You order and pay at the kiosk and take a seat and wait till they call your order number. It's basically a take-out operation with seating, not a full-service restaurant anymore.
Well... It is with mixed emotions, that I write this review. First and foremost, my family and I love Steak and Shake. However, I walk into our local location and find a completely different place. First, the people greeting you are gone. No cash register and ZERO wait staff. They now have only kiosks and a self serve drink station. No longer is this a full service restaurant. It is now a fast food restaurant...except the food still comes out SLOW. I've been waiting 30 minutes, so far... By my count, they have released at least 5 to 6 workers per shift. When asked about the drop in staff, I was told they could afford them. Just disappointed so many people have been fired, prices haven't dropped, and food is still slow... Guess that $15 minimum wage movement worked... Me and my family of 7 will support other establishments, moving forward...
Great food for cheap. I highly recommend eating here. There is a bit of a line sometimes, but that's to be expected when the food tastes as good as it does. $4 for a burger and fries. It's totally worth it, better than McDonald's.

I frequent this restaurant and the food is always good. Served fast by friendly people.
