Food is yummy! I order Lunch special at dinner & save money & eat less. Dinner portions are too much food & I can never finish the food. So, Sonny's BBQ gives one options! Plus, one can order a delicious salad topped with hard boiled egg on top with cucumbers & tomatoes & their home made Ranch dressing as one of the sides for just twenty cents more! The other sides are great too! Pulled chicken with BBQ sauce is delicious too! Servers very efficient & friendly!
Ordered food for pick up tonight. $67. We’ve ordered before and have always enjoyed this location. Tonight, the pulled pork was bland, and full of fat. The banana in the pudding was tough and rubbery! Gross! The beans tasted very odd. It just wasn’t the same tonight.I’ll update my review when/if Sonny’s redeems themselves.
I used to get a burger when I wasn't in the mood for their baby back ribs because I've found with their ribs sometimes it's hit or miss, sometimes they're tender and sometimes they're tough as leather and I like the charcoal/bbq flavor of their burger, one of the few places I've found that I can go out and still get this backyard BBQ grill flavor, however I don't know if they've changed their beefPatties but it was not the same. The burger tasted as if it had been cooked on the flat top and not juicy. I think maybe I'll just stick with the baby back ribs from now on.
I have been eating at Sonnys since I was a kid!! It is my favorite BBQ around and the Oviedo location is the best!!!
My family goes to Sonnys a few times a month and we love it! Always a great meal and the staff is always friendly!
By far our favorite go to lunch spot!! We go 2 to 3 times a week and its always great! Service is always great, we love that they know us by name!
Sonny's on red bug Rd is generally way better than ours at the airport. So we stop in on our way home from our daughter's house almost weekly. The brisket and pulled pork are less fatty and chicken is tender than the airport location. But for the last 6 months the quality of this store has declined to the airport store, very disappointing. We also like Sonny's fried okra but the price increase to over $5 for a VERY small bowl is just not worth it. We will be doing our own BBQ from now on!

Food is good for a quick pick up, though don't expect homemade quality. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. The only issue i had was that the website gives you an ETA for order pickup that is completely wrong. If the employees are understaffed, that's understandable, but management/corporate shouldn't be making estimates if they have no idea how busy the stores are.
My server Kloe was great. She made sure our food was made exactly the way we asked before bringing it out and I know how picky I can be. The cooks made the food savory and I was delighted by every bite. Will definitely come back and ask for the nice server again. 10/10
