Ordered some dinner online and scheduled a picked up. I was early and lady server was very friendly and helpful - asked me to take a seat while waiting. Food was ready on time (as scheduled online). We had the Fried Calamari as appetizer, the Andreas Salad, and the Spaghetti Pasta with meatballs. Calamari was fantastic ! The dipping sauce was hot ! Never had hot Calamari dipping sauce before like this and it tasted awesome. Served with a big slice of lemon. I used to love the Macaroni grill calamari, and then they changed it a few years ago. It is still good, but the portion size is very small. Monte Vesuvio gave me the full generous portion I used to get at Macaroni grill. The Andreas salad was just delicious. The romaine lettuce was fresh, the roasted red peppers were smooth and silky, the walnuts crunchy and the artichokes just right. I prefer the salad dressing that coms with the house salad though, instead of the vinegrette that comes with the Andreas Salad. My son had the spaghetti and meatballs.
Monte Vesuvio is a wonderful family-run Italian restaurant that honestly deserves a lot more recognition. I came here on a Saturday night with a friend and had no issue getting a table. We got the garlic knots, frutti di marre, and one of their pizzas and everything was delicious. They have a wide menu and I honestly think that there's something here for everyone and I'm looking forward to trying more of their dishes! Service was also lovely. Monte Vesuvio is one of the best restaurants Oviedo has to offer and I recommend it to anyone!

I can’t put it in words that will do this great Italian restaurant justice. We have been coming here since the start of pandemic when they first opened and hoped that they would make it through. Well they have and there is not one thing on the menu that I have tried that I wouldn’t order again. The Specials are phenomenal.
We went here for my dad's birthday and we weren't disappointed. The food is very fresh and isn't the typical spaghetti and meatballs Italian food. You can tell it's made fresh and the vegetables are nice and crisp and not overcooked. The whole menu is different than typical Italian restaurants which is what I was looking for. It all tasted authentic and the tiramasu is AWESOME!! The garlic knots are yummy. The only complaint I had were the mozzarella sticks which looked like they might have been frozen. But the wait staff are so friendly and on top of everything!!
Came in to grab lunch while waiting for an appointment. Was planning to get a slice of pizza but ended up with a calzone. It was amazing. Serving was perfect and the entire restaurant was immaculately clean. I will be coming back many more times. If you're looking for someplace new come here, it was perfect!!
Wish I would’ve taken photos was just so good we forgot to. Went to another location for dinner and it was completely booked, so we took a look at Yelp and found this restaurant and I’m so glad we did. We started with the garlic knots that we saw recommended on yelp. Delicious is all I can say. Also ordered the shrimp Parmesan which is hard to fine in many places and I love it reminded me of New York City. Hubby had vodka sauce and enjoyed. Too full for desert maybe next time! Wow so close to home we will definitely be back!!
