Food was kind of meh.I had the lasagna which was kind of bland and the serving size was small. My daughter had the calamari which she usually devours, she ended up not eating much of it because it wasn't that good in her words. Serving size was big.Rest of the family had the pizza which was "ok". Pizzas were decent sized. Our server did an amazing job which is why I gave them a 3rd star.I'd go somewhere else next time. A bit overpriced for the quality of food.

Owner son who cooks is awful rude our order is never right and food is cold when delivered. They Skimp on toppings too!! Do not recommend them! Expensive and not worth the quality!!! We ordered again. We never should have $55 small portions no flavor delivered cold order wrong, we were still hungry. Every other Italian restaurant you are stuffed and can't eat it all. Worst dinner ever. Sauce was burnt on spaghetti, fettuccine no flavor. Even our 14 year old daughter was still hungry. Garlic bread is small sticks? About 4" sticks. Never again. We tried! Rip off on portions. Horrible food. Worst experience in Italian restaurant for last time.

For my neighborhood Italian joint. This is my go to place. The have an amazing lasagna and pretty damn good stuffed Italian pizza. It's a bit more on the "American" style of the Italian side, but worlds better than Olive Garden. Now with all Italian families, and individuals, each person says they can cook it better. While they are arguing about whose a better cook, I'll just come pick up some Giovanni's and enjoy the show. When I am in the mood to cook Italian pizza from scratch, and don't feel like hassling with dough; I also come here to grab dough. They have dough is flour and in oil. Both are extremely reasonably priced. It's great comfort food, and it feels like your local Italian hangout. Exactly like my old neighborhood in New York city.Be sure to stop by for a solo bite, family dinner, or even take out.I don't believe Giovanni's should disappoint.Buon Appetito e buona notte!

Great food, love the garlic knots and pizza. It is so delicious. It was also easy to order. I went online and ordered food, simple to navigate. Then I had several options to pay including through PayPal. I then received text it would be ready in 15min and text when completed. Then I went in, grabbed it from employee and left. So simple!!

Good Italian food with good service and decent prices. You can feel the family run atmosphere. Good for a family dinner, get together with friends, or just a pizza to go.

We have been to Giovanni's a couple of times, but were not impressed with our most recent visit. Neither the Pasta with Marinara Sauce nor Fried Calamari did much for us and there is better Italian food nearby. This location needs to step up their game.

Cute little place hidden in shopping mall. Was a little hesitant to try because of some of the reviews. Very happy we went ahead & tried it out. We ordered spaghetti with meatballs & one with sausage. It came with a salad & a basket of breadstick type bread that you pull apart. It was probably the only thing that disappointed us. It was very hard and burnt on the bottom. My husband used it to dip in his mussels with the spicy marinara sauce that he loved. It was busy with a lot of takeout orders and the restaurant was full along with the bar so it can’t be that bad of a place. We were seated within 5 minutes & we received our food in a timely manner. We were never checked back on for more drinks or to get our check to pay. My husband ended up having to flag her down after trying to get her attention after 20 minutes & feeling guilty as people were waiting for tables. All the other servers were very attentive to their tables so ours must have been having a bad night. This by no means would keep us from coming back & on our way back to this area in a couple of days we’re going to stop & try the pizza.

We celebrated my daughter's birthday dinner at Giovannis with family. I reserved the week of her birthday and they had everything set up prior to our arrival. Our server, Angelo was amazing, he served a group of 19, all the while with a smile on his face. The service was prompt and the food was absolutely delicious. This is our new go to Italian when visiting the area.

OK so I have been to this restaurant before and it is always wonderful. However, this time I was very disappointed with my portion. I always love to order chicken Parmesan when I go to an Italian restaurant. At this restaurant it is more on the expensive side at $18.99. Which I am willing to pay as long as it is worth the price. When my dish arrived, it was one small piece of chicken and one small side of pasta. I was at dinner with two other people who both ordered pasta dishes and their plates were filled with pasta. I asked our waitress about the small portion size and she said that that is the portion size now since a change was made in suppliers or something. She was very nice and went to the chef to ask him if he could do anything and apparently he just said nothing can be done and it is what it is and just walked away from our waitress. Our waitress was very nice and ended up not charging us for drinks but nothing could be done about the dinner. When I’m about to pay $20 for a plate of chicken Parm I would really hope that this quantity on the plate measures up to $20. The waitress even said that we weren’t the first people to complain about the portions. She said that since the change in suppliers probably about 75% of people that order the chicken Parmesan complain about the size.I could’ve gone to any other Italian restaurant, even Olive Garden, and had a much larger portion for that price. Also my friend at dinner ordered chicken fettuccine Alfredo and said that the chicken was tasteless and the pasta had only a slight taste to it. Oh and on top of all this, they were very short staffed and there was a bit of a wait to be seated. Which is perfectly understandable we waited with no problem but when we entered we saw there was so many empty tables and yet it took about 40 minutes to be seated. It just showed how short staffed and in need of personnel that they are.

I originally wanted the lasagna catering portion but the manager said they wouldn’t have enough time to make it. He recommended the Ziti , so I ordered it . 80.00$ with of food with no flavor or seasoning I thought that it would be similar because that’s what he said. So I called and he just said oh sorry about that. I spent 80.00 and all you have to say is sorry?!? Please do not go here no customer satisfaction skills we had to go out and get something else … I Do Not Recommend Oviedo Giovannis
