I was in the area so I thought I'd give it a try. Should have gotten a sandwich at Publix next door. The pizza was below average. It had way too much cheese and the crust was a bit rubbery. Not at all what I would expect from a neighborhood Italian joint. I've had better frozen pizza. Not very impressed with the service either. I kind of got the feeling that I was being a bother whenever I asked for anything.
Anthony’s used to be our “Go To” in Oviedo for Italian food. The meal today was HORRIBLE! The eggplant was pulled from the freezer and slimy. It clearly wasn’t cooked to being crispy before the sauce and cheese were placed on it. PLUS ….. with the new cash or charge final prices = TACKY! I understand what you told the employees to say about keeping the prices lower but we know it is the ownership just trying to not pay the increased credit card fees. Your servers were very polite and courteous but the noise coming from the kitchen sounded more like people just having a good time screwing around. Fortunately we have Gino’s or Cafe Pannuzos to frequent. You lost a customer Anthony’s!!
We have tried this restaurant 2 times now and I would like to say that they have the best Strombolis around! With that being said I thought their Pizza would be just as good. However both times we ordered pizza it was good but not as good as their Strombolis. If you are looking for an amazing Stromboli, this is the place for sure!!!!
This was my delivery tonight. Defiantly disappointing! After working hard all day and ordering dinner. This is what was delivered! So disappointing. I didn’t call earlier as my husband is not one to complain. But being in the business over 30 years, it can’t be fixed if you don’t tell someone they slipped up! Then they offered me 50% off another pizza! What a slap in the face. We pay good money to have their pizza’s and chicken alfredo’s delivered out here on Jungle Rd! $40 to $80 when we have guest! $40 tonight and they want to give me another at 50%. ??? For their mistake!
I love there lasagna! Best I've had in a long time! Always my first order, along with there garlic wings!
I live in Orlando, but anytime I’m in Oviedo getting my hair done or visiting my best friend, I HAVE to stop by Anthony’s and bring pizza home with me! It’s the best pizza and the best service I’ve had in central Florida. I was in NY a month ago, Anthony’s is the only place I go to that always gets it right. Highly recommend to anyone in the area, you won’t be disappointed!
This is a regular place for my family. The service is great and the food is spectacular. I love everything on the menu. It’s always a tough decision between the pizza, hot subs, or the chicken parm!
My boyfriend and I recently discovered this place and I wish we discovered it sooner. Every time we order from here our order is always perfect and tastes absolutely delicious! The salad is fresh every time and pizza and everything else we’ve had has been excellent. Will definitely be a returning customer.
Wasnt the best pizza....i order two large pizzas, Which i regret, taste like cardboard no real flavor to it, i felt bad taking it to my friends after i had a slice, i was like i could of went to dominos in the same plaza but i firgure this would be good pizza i was wrong...sorry. TBH I'm surprised they are even 4 Stars...
They used to make a really good pizza. That's no longer true. Twice now we got really bad ones. Both were delivered. This last one was the worst. It was a large pizza with sausage, mushroom & pepperoni (with desserts it was $40 plus the tip). The desserts were fine but the pizza was burnt, dry as cardboard, very little sauce & cheese, and had a peculiar odor. Something on that pizza was less than fresh. We didn't eat it. Too risky. We called to let them know about it. They offered to send another pizza but we declined. It wasn't worth the wait and there were no guarantees the next one would be any better. We won't miss those pizzas and we won't miss the bad attitude of the woman who answers the phone there either. The one thing we could always count on was that she will be rude.
