This was the very first time in a Waffle house. Keeping in mind, that this is a cheap dinner chain, I have to say it was ok.When you walk in the door, you feel like you stepped back in time. But all looked clean, even the bathrooms were in better shape than some higher-end restaurants.Now at the time of ordering, two worlds tried to find common grounds.Set aside that fresh fruit with the waffles or other less sugary or salty alternatives don't exist. What I got served was tasty and hit the spot.If only the cook would have just kept his mouth shut for a minute.He forced his private conversations on his really not too amused co-workers. And this in a volume, you as a guest had to listen too
The place itself,, is a bit small, but I'm thinking that's intentional.. my guess.I gave it four stars because the coffee..( IN MY OWN OPINION) is one of the best brewed coffee around!!I'm taking natural bare naked coffee, even though I put in Splenda and cream. The food is very good hash browns and sausage nice and fresh love the eggs! The waffles are good , but could use some more tweaking to make it better,, again ( my own opinion)The service is usually respectful and nice. I always look forward to coming back.

Always friendly and courteous staff.Great food for the value. The go to comfort food.The better option then fast food.The burgers as well as the chicken biscuit are great lunch options.
Great waitressFood was very good. The waffles, eggs, sausage, and smothered potatoes were prepared perfectly and tasted wonderful.Coffee was not too strong .I would recommend Waffle house in Palm Coast/Ormond Beach on US 1.
Everyone tells me that Waffle House isn't that good without trying it. I finally got to eat at one. The waffles are better than any place I've ever been. The service was great.
