From the outside it doesn’t look that amazing but the food is SO good! Always fresh and delicious. The poke bowls are my favorite. I’ve never had a bad meal!
Over all the food was good. Our family for the most part enjoyed it. However I would not suggest it for anyone who has a gluten allergy. My food was ordered GF due to an allergy and when my meat and veggies were brought out on Wheat noodles we brought it to our waitress’s attention. She returned the plate kindly and let us know the manager was handling the problem personally. My food was later brought out plated differently. However there were still wheat noodles in my meat and veggies. I ended up having a bad reaction as I was about half way through my dinner when I found them. I wish they would have just let me know they were not willing to accommodate me rather than allow me to get sick.
I ordered two sushi rolls and they were delicious and fresh. You get free soup and a tiny fried sushi roll as appetizers. Place is super adorable and clean. Would absolutely come back and recommend to friends.
Amazing fresh sushi. If you like sushi or sashimi and are in Ormund Beach you must go. Quantity and quality reflected in pricing. $8-15/roll depending on style. Friendly service and offered suggestions when asked.
With the rating this place got I was very disappointed the rolls were not as decribed and tasted rotten had to throw it away the only plus the clear soup was good it's really sad if this the sushi in ormond bch.
Dry, no flavor at ALL! I asked for extra yum yum and extra teriyaki, they sent 7 yum Yums (which were NOT yummy at ALL) and one tiny teriyaki. They were at least big portions, however, big portions of food that you don’t want to eat is really just a waste of food. $50.00 worth of filet mignon and “teriyaki” chicken for the neighbor’s dog. I better get a Christmas card! Lol
Excellent food, generous portions (the teriyaki salmon was so big we thought maybe there was a mistake with the order), and decent service (it was packed on a Saturday night, so speed was understandably a tiny bit slow). Overall, zero hesitation to go back - if our second visit is as good, I think we just found a new regular spot.
Really surprisingly delicious and NICE generous portions!! The salmon teriyaki dinner was literally for two, with a huge amount of veggies, large bowl of rice, and TWO large filets of salmon all only for $21. Also got edamame as an appetizer (always remember to request lemon to squeeze on top! Makes it even better), and they were kind enough to hand out complimentary soups AND a complimentary appetizer snack of tempura crab with spicy mayo on top - which was a fun surprise (and tasty)! We also got the volcano roll and another salmon based roll I can't remember (it wasn't the Alaska roll, but similar) both of which were amazing. Friendly fast service, the staff was all working together to provide service to all tables which is a great system. It's a perfect quaint size, and was busy with nearly all tables full upon arrival at about 7pm on a Saturday with a lot of people picking up takeout orders the whole time. They even gracefully handled a situation at the hostess stand of an outside patron (seemed to be on a substance or struggling financially) who came in causing some issues, and discreetly called the police without a huge scene. But besides that random event.. when it comes to the food, service, hospitality, and atmosphere... Overall highly recommend!
Visiting the area again. Went for to Sushi 99 this trip as well. It did not disappoint. The rolls were all awesome. Service could have been a little better but food was great.
Typical food, nothing outside to be memorable, did enjoy the food bowl, this is not a normal dish that i have found anywhere else.
