Let me just say that the quality at this steak ‘n Shake has gone downhill. Sodas are flat, Food is soggy and full of grease, chili bowls are half full. Customer service is nonexistent. Food comes out wrong after you’ve paid at least $30 for a family meal. Inside dining is no longer resulting in shotty outside picnic tables. Were service doesn’t happen. By far the worst steak ‘n Shake I’ve been to. They should consider closing.
Food was just sloppily thrown together. No type of customer service. Ordering ok a kiosk is fine but there is no one to help if something goes wrong and they don’t take cash inside.
We stopped at Steak and Shake Ormond on Williamson, our burger experience was very good double steak burger with cheese and fries. Was not disappointed at all price was right and taste was good. Steak and Shake vs Checkers

I was completely unsatisfied on my last visit. The food tasting terrible. My regular chocolate milkshake I ordered extra think 1/2 syrup no whipped cream or cherry.. the milkshake was disgusting, not think chunky and had whip cream cherry and choc syrup or fudge just sitting inside milkshake undrinkable and I used to love them. There was 2 cars ahead of me in drive thru and it still took me over 20 mins in line which is unacceptable.When it was decided for my husband last minute I tried ordering by calling the store ahead of time so my order was ready however when making my call to store on Williamson and Granada Blvd in Ormond beach right off I 95 just south of Walmart.. nobody answered. I kept trying for almost the entire 20 Min drive there.My husband was supposed to of had 2 dbl steak burgers with everything they gave him 2 plain cheeseburger w 1 being a single. The fries were cold and his milkshake the chocolate peanut butter cup was not at all drinkableI may have to rethink if I will go back out there. I'd rather go to taproom in Daytona beach on seabreeze Blvd bc there steak burgers are so much better..
My complaint is that IOrdered a sprite and it was nothing more than carbonated water, and I ordered a large meal and even seems to get smaller and smaller as the prices get high and higher. I do enjoy the taste of the food, other than the drink, just wish you would get what you paying for!!
They have changed their menus!! The burgers aren’t as good! They are becoming cheap! I won’t be going to Steak ‘n Shake any more! It used to be one of my favorite places to come eat but now with this change it just sucks!
Always fast, friendly and fresh! Folks working there are absolutely wonderful people.
Ordered chili and a few hamburgers. This is what i got 1/2 filled container and a full price. I dont know why it is so hard to give good value when you buy something.
So normally I would rank this a 3 because the bathroom needed a good cleaning but the manager was out cleaning tables and emptying garbage. We talked to him. Staff calling in and or not showing up. As always we were served quick and the food was excellent.
