Great food, great service, great prices
We recently moved into the area and literally stumbled upon this gem. We were out shopping and decided to try it for lunch and boy did they deliver! I had a chef salad that I ended up bringing a lot home, the dressing tasted homemade and everything in the salad was cold, fresh and tasty. My husband had an omelette with hash browns and toast and ate every bite( their coffee was delicious too). The only thing they could improve on is to stay open for not just breakfast and lunch but dinner too! I’m sure we will become “ regulars” here.
This place is special to me and my spouse. It's our breakfast date stop. The ladies are wonderful and the chocolate milk is the best!

After arriving in Ormond Beach, I inquired as to where a good breakfast was being served. Family suggested the Rivergate Coffee Shop Diner. It's located at the corner of Grenada Blvd and Nova Rd in the Rivergate Shopping Center. It's a local "hangout" for the regulars. Great ,friendly and helpful food servers know many of them by first name. Menu features a full breakfast and/or lunch. Hamburgers are huge with all the works They also have various specials of the day, including a hard to find entree of "liver and onions" at times. I had the "farmers omelet" stuffed with all the trimmings, hash browns, grilled biscuit, all for only $8.25. Couldn't eat it all. The food is good, the prices ultra-low. You leave wanting to return again soon. Try them out. Their hours are 7-2PM seven days a week. Their menu is also on-line. Cheers!

simply put : The quintessential Florida diner. The favourite of many a ormond beach local, the Rivergate cafe has offered good company, kind staff, good food and a smile to my family for generations. What was once my mother's favourite pace to get coffee before attending seabreeze highschool in the 80s, now has also become my go-to-diner on many a morning. Rarely has any food or restaurant so consistently put a smile.
