Food had great taste but for example crab Rangoon there was no filling the egg roll was same thing and so was the sweet and sour chicken it was all breading… the bourbon chicken and sesame chicken was good but a little over cooked… definitely nothing to brag about The pictures are what every crab Rangoon looked like from outside and nothing in the the inside …. We ordered two orders my daughter is obsessed but def not these (talk about breaking a little girls heart) And the last was the egg roll

Been wanting to go to the Red Bowl Asian Bistro in Ormond Beach. Great experience! Rainy our server was a hoot. Very prompt with all our needs. She told us she has been there 12 years. We had won ton soup which was yummy. For dinner we had chicken and broccoli and beef and broccoli dinners. Very good meal. Wasn’t sure what jasmine rice was but our server was right. It’s simply white rice. We will definitely be back and tell all our friends.

Was once a great place to eat or do take out. Service has slipped in recent months. Today we ordered Chow Mein through Door Dash and received soupy vegetables over rice. Called the restaurant to get the order corrected and was told that Chow Mein is vegetables over rice and not noodles.

Yum! It's so hard to find a good, sit down Chinese restaurant in Florida and this is it! The menu has lots of options from typical Chinese dishes, sushi and hibachi. I got the orange chicken, pork fried rice and wonton soup. All was so fresh and tasty. Service was fast and friendly. I will definitely be back the next time I am in the area!

In general Inflation hurts us all and the restaurant business hurts badly. They bear the brunt of labor and high food costs. I do see many restaurants cutting corners but at least they have a pretty clean kitchen according to State of Florida DPR. I admit they cut corners but do you really want to pay for the $5.00 egg roll full of shrimp and I bet most of the people giving poor reviews tip like Canadians. If you cant afford to tip you cant afford to eat out that simple.Likely food costs will expand greatly and restaurants have to battle with cutting corner or raising prices and in many cases both.It is tough to find good Chinese food and I mean I grew up eating Chinese food on Canal street in New York City. We used to frequent some of the restaurants in Palm Coast but have you read their health review. So far this place is good and I hope they are able to correct the trend of lower ratings.

Ordered dinner tonight, and bit into a spring roll and pulled this piece of metal out of my mouth. Luckily I did not swallow it, but not sure if there were other pieces that I might have swallowed. Called to talk to manager to let them know not to sell any spring rolls until they were inspected, but staff did not seem to care that I found a piece of metal in their food. Told me that manager was not there. Very disappointing and now worried for food safety, and my health. They are definitely on the list!

Order Chow Mein for lunch through Door Dash and got soupy chicken and vegetables over rice. Wife called the restaurant to get the order corrected and she was told that Chow Mein is vegetables over rice. I guess Red Bowl doesn’t understand Chinese because “Mein” clearly means noodles. Likely an order for another customer than cancelled so they decided to dump it on us. Probably worth mentioning my wife is Chinese and her blood pressure shot up when told over the phone that it was rice not noodles.

Excellent food. A large window from the bar area and dining room allows you to see into the kitchen as your meal is prepared. I pick up my order as I pass by on my way home. It is always hot and fresh.

Have ordered take out a few times from here and it was decent, I remember the location in Port Orange being much better. We dined in tonight and I was not impressed at all…. The food was over cooked and could tell the oil had not been changed for a while. Little disappointed ?
