Last time here about a month ago was great. Tonight,7/8 not so good. Waitress was nice. Told out of cole slaw. Really? Then served hush puppies. They were raw on inside. Sent them back, came back with new. Burnt on outside, barely cooked on inside. Sooo ,no hush puppies! Fried platter, scallops over cooked, crab cake burnt, shrimp over cooked. Told waitress everything was fine. Felt sorry for her. Tipped her well. Not ever going back again...pretty much like anywhere these days. Can't get good help.
Delicious seafood with generous portions. Also have land lover options. Homey atmosphere and great service
First time for me. Old and just a local place. Food was fine but expensive (thanks Biden). Place was hot and humid - 80°? Biggest issue was my date having Fireball shots as dessert (they had no desserts prepared) > discovered they were $7 EACH!! OUTRAGEOUS. poor value
Fabulous Prime Rib at a reasonable price. Definitely is a must try. Casual dining at a very affordable price.
Great food! Enjoyed the prime rib! The crab and fish were cooked perfectly, veggies were fresh and nicely seasoned, corn casserole was awesome and reminded me of home (wanted to stash some in my pocket). Great service. Nice family run business. Looking forward to coming back.
Stumbled across this little gem by accident. Was driving back to Ocala from Daytona and I could have sworn I seen a sign that said "Rock Shrimp are back" ,I told my wife sitting next to me. She said make a U turn up here and let's go see. Needless to say it was the most delicious meal that we have had in literally years. Between the local caught gator plus the blue crab bisque appetizers,and the entree of the best tasting broiled rockshrimp ever. If your in the area and you love rock shrimp like we do, it will be your loss to not treat yourself to dinner at this cozy little establishment.
Not my normal review here...I have never had the poor quality of food and service as we did tonight. An hour and a half to even get our meals. Of 5 meals, 2 of 5 were satisfied...hence the 2 of 5 stars.4 of 5 had iced tea and didn't get a refill until right before we left and no ice...was warm tea, not iced tea...not half n half but unsweetened.When checked on after a lot of time passed, what we were told was 2 people called out. Still not a reason without prior explanation. Had we known that in advance we would have gone elsewhere tonight and back there another night. My sister and fam are in from GA and we ranted about how amazing it is. :(SO disappointed and embarrassed.FYI...not giving up on the place...its a 1st time poor experience...I WILL remove this negative once I get a positive experience.
It took over an hour and a half for our food. My potato was cold. 1st prime rib supposed to be med rare came out well done, 2nd prime rib, med rare but so tough I couldn't eat it. I was told this place is not usually bad, but what evs. My sister's was supposed to be med rare came out wrong size and rare. No refills on drinks.
Party of seven and we all had delicious dinners. Patrick our server was great, answering many questions and very friendly. Would definitely return and try their prime rib!
Patrick, our waiter, was fantastic. We asked him lots of questions about the menu, th restaurant and the area. He explained everything we wanted to know and helped in the decision making.The food (Shrimp Lovers) we chose was very good.
