Food was great, Margaritas were excellent!

As always great food. Ordered takeout. The food ready when requested plus the second time chef made sure entree cooked and bagged while I paid so hot and crispy. Staff friendly.
To start, the inside is very nice, clean, and festive.. Food was very good. I had the Burrito Azteca and it was one of then best burritos I’ve ever had. They got our order wrong but made it right by going out of their way to quickly bring the right items. Mistakes are never reasons to leave a bad review as long as you apologize and work hard to make it right with the customer, and that’s exactly what they did. I Will definitely recommend this place to the friends and family.
We usually like going to La Fiesta. My daughter wanted to celebrate my Birthday and recommended that we go to La Fiesta. My daughter and family never went before. They arrived before we did and were seated and had their drinks. We saw them and went straight to the table. The waiter knew that they were expecting more people. We were sitting there and no one was coming to see if we arrived. My daughter saw a waitress and called her over and all of a sudden the waiter came right over. He got our drinks and then it was another 10 minutes before he returned and took our order. Then we waited a good half hour before we even so the food. The waiter never came back. My daughter also ordered more sauce and no one told her what the charge would be. Then the waiter came over to see if we wanted boxes. Then it took him another 10 minutes to bring the box and gave the bill. I didn't know but my daughter told the waiter that they were celebrating my birthday and to see if they could accommodate with the singing and a dessert for me. That never occurred. They charged $7 for the extra sauce. On my way out, I did mention this to one of the waiters at the front desk. My daughter ended up speaking to our waiter and all he said was sorry we were too busy as it was Mother's Day. Needless to say, my daughter and family will not return and we will not return. This was very poor customer service. Joan S

Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere what more can you ask for and the pitcher of Margaritas were amazing!
We stood at the front and waited over 15 minutes to be seated. Many men walked past us ignoring us. I asked if we needed to seat ourselves and was told rudely by one man "no you have to wait." He came back 5 minutes later and acted angry that we were there. I asked for a manager. None came. No one else came. We left. It is hard to patronize a business that can't simply say "give us minute. We will be right with you." We would have understood that but rude treatment just for trying to patronize a local business, we don't understand.
The food is outstanding. The carnitas are perfect for a dish that is usually very dry but theirs were unbelievably tender. The Mexican rice was also delicious.However, the table spray for cleaning the tables was so strong I had to hold a napkin over my face for a few minutes before the smell dissipated. Smells are a great part of enjoying food so it is like going to a fancy dinner party and having the host use scented candles. Ugh.Sadly it was used again on the table behind us. I have asthma and I decided we need to leave as soon as possible. I asked the young waitress to ask the manager not to spray the next table until we could get out.We eat out 4-5 times a week and I understand the need to disinfect but that blue window cleaner negates all of the work you have put into for an ambiance which includes the enticing smell of cooking food.
My Mom and I eat at La Fiesta pretty much every week when I'm off work.It's under new management now, and though we liked it before, we really love it now.Food is DELICIOUS, rice is moist, not dry, entrees are amply portioned and very yummy, the tortilla chips warm, salsa is great, you can taste the tequila in your drink, and the service is absolutely wonderful.We so enjoy La Fiesta even more now.Thanks so much to the staff at LaFiesta for making this place out Ormond Beach go-to.
