2 entrees, 1 appetizer, no drinks, including tip is going to cost you about a C note. Most were locals. Food/service was very good. Shrimp appetizer was salty. That's the only negative. Will return again.
Authentic Italian restaurant. Fabulous food and the owner's and staff so very nice. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy!
The food was good but I’ve had better. It’s a very small place and the hostess was kind. I feel it was way over priced for the portion sizes and quality of food.
It’s been 2 years since I was here and I was pleased that L’Angelo is still great. Shrimp appetizer was very good. Veal Marsala and Veal Piccata excellent. Service very good. I was also pleased with the on line reservation process via Google maps…very convenient.
First time going, and I have nothing but positive feedback! Food was exceptional, very fresh and cooked perfectly! We will definitely be coming back. Anna really made us feel welcome during our dinning experience and did a really great job at explaining all of the great specials of the night!
Food was small portions and over priced. Regular patrons that were seated well after us received their food before us. We had reservations at 5 pm.The sauce from my lobster and shrimp dish, tasted like cream of Campbells soup. My spouse ordered spaghetti, meatballs were burnt. Small portion on noddles as well. Left the one meatball on the dish. Will not be doing back.
My wife and I have dined at this restaurant a few times in the past and it was good. But I must say that it has really gone down hill. I ordered Osso Buco over risotto. The meat was so tough I had to cut it. It must have been just boiled then roasted rather than slow cooked as it's supposed to be. The risotto was served with a red marinara sauce that had a tangy flavor (I couldn't believe Italians made this sauce!) and it was like a soup. The risotto itself wasn't served properly as it was being cooked like risotto should be. It must have been sitting in water since it was more like large puffed up barley kernals. The service? Okay, it's difficult finding people these days. However, we had to ask for everything basis from the server: fork, pepper, attention! We were never asked how things were or if we needed anything during the meal. Upon paying, they didn't ever return my credit card; I had to ask for that as well. If you could give this place zero stars I would. If you're from the northeast and New York/New Jersey especially, you know good italian food and dining. This is my first review of a restaurant ever, but I feel that I must warn the wary diner who is expecting an "adequate" meal. We would have gotten better food and service at Olive Garden for nearly half the price. They shamefully charged $40.00 for that Osso Buco! Shame on you L'angolo for such a rip-off.

Really expected more after reading all the raving reviews but was disappointed over the cost and quality.I've experienced amazing Italian scratch kitchens and was anticipating the same starting with reservations. After being seated, it was obvious to the most casual observer that the regulars will get better service than the non regular ones.I like service to be steady, not too fast as you'd like to enjoy the food, but don't want to sit and wait to place your order while watching a table turn twice before you get an order in.Found that the creamed red sauce for the gnocchi tasted like Campbell's tomato soup with milk. Idk, maybe a coincidence. The food was ok but not equal to the price they commanded in Ormond Beach... this isn't NYC, WBP, or Miami.Hopefully this review helps your decision.I've tried it once, won't go back.
Intimate atmosphere and delicious food & wine. Making this a regular on our favorites list.
