Fresh seafood and delicious! Back encased patio airy with beautiful plants and music. Best hush puppies too
We stopped at Hulls as they came highly recommended by former Ormand Beach neighbors of ours and they were correct about it. Fresh fish and seafood right off of the boat. They also have a seafood market attached. This was one of the most reasonable seafood restaurants that we stopped at on our Florida trip. We had to wait 40 minutes but it was worth our time.
Wonderful food and service. I have been eating a lot of fish tacos this week. Their spicy fried shrimp tacos were great, absolutely full of shrimp. I definitely would return if in the area.

Hulls offers delicious local food and the service is excellent! Hang out with Hunter at the bar and you won’t regret it. Hunter knows the menu and food so well and suggest items for us. He’s totally and completely awesome!
Literally called to ask questions on a typical wait time during the week, and the lady that answered was incredibly RUDE and NOT helpful at all.
Since our 1st visit to Ormond Beach over 15 years ago Hulls has been a must. We were staying at the Casa Del Mar Resort. I ask the front desk check in clerk where is your favorite place to eat. “Oh you have got to go to Hulls! Best seafood anywhere!” We went. They were right!! Go at least once every time we visit the area. This last time we ate there three times in one week!! Great atmosphere, friendly attentive staff, fair prices and the BEST SEAFOOD EVER!!
Ordered the Broiled Platter Includes: Fish of the day, shrimp, scallops, and a lobster tail. This food had absolutely no taste, it was frozen our plate came with water in the bottom. All of the seafood was overcooked. The platter was seasoned with paprika. Horrible. Worst food ever. Also ordered the cracked conch it was hard and chewy. Skip this place.
I have been in Ormond for many years and for one reason or another never ate at Hulls. I think I walked in once years ago and smelled fish. Well , today we sat in the open dining area in the back , which was great. Short wait , even tho empty tables Got a beer at the bar and relaxed. Waitress Regan was lovely and took our orders. We had the Maryland crab cake appetizer. It was a good size single crab cake served with lemon. Could definitely see and taste the crab which was tasty. Not too much breading. My husband had a Mahi sandwich , one of the best we’ve had locally. Very fresh , delicious. Not over done with tons of seasoning. Excellent. Served with tasty , simple Cole slaw. Not drowning in Mayo. I choose a fried shrimp dinner. Very very fussy about where I eat shrimp. Will not eat shrimp if I suspect it is farmed anywhere. These did not disappoint. Lightly breaded and crunchy , great flavor. Large portion. I ate them all. I had New England clam chowder which was a great recipe that is truly from New England. Need to be from there to know. One of the best !! Side salad was fresh with many veggies added. Over all a 5 star dinner. Will defiantly go again. Very varied menu
As good a seafood as you can get!! Sides were fresh and very tasty. Each person had a different entree and were able to do a mini tasting of their offerings. It was unanimous that this is one of the best seafood meals we have had!!
