So i guess I should’ve read reviews first. I was not expecting gourmet, just decent Chinese. The people seemed really nice and I spent like $19 bucks for a pint of sweet & sour chicken, egg roll and donuts. Nothing is itemized on the receipt- first of all. Second, the white rice was inedible…. It reminded me of the food from my elderly grandmother as a child, everything tasted like a stale cabinet. The chicken was all dry and shriveled up inside. I called and expected understanding- partial return (I told them, I ate nothing but a bite of chicken and some donuts and would bring it back)- maybe an apology? Nothing. He actually got nasty and offers to re-make tomorrow but -nope- not interested. He just argued that his chicken is not dry. I’m not a complainer but with prices these days it needs to be edible. Even an apologetic or understanding attitude would’ve averted me from this review. Watch out.

Used to be great now awful. Ordered Kung Pao chicken and added $2 Xtra chicken and hold the green pepper. There was 2 pieces of chicken. Not exaggerating. 2 pieces. Instead of the green pepper they loaded in carrot pieces. Most of the dish was carrots. The pork fried rice it came with had no pork in it. Ordered krab rangoon and they now give the triangular pocket kind. They had barely anything in them. And what was in them tasted gross. Not at all what krab rangoon should taste like. They don't seem to care either I called to talk to someone and when I was done describing my food the lady yelled "OK! ". Then asked me what I wanted to order. Won't be back.

Always rude on phone .. delivery always takes over and hour and food is cold.Sushi is cheap fish and smells very fishy..rolls fall apartDo not order from here you will be sorry.

the place is trash I tell them no vegetables because I know I'm allergic to some of them so I say no vegetables and they put vegetables in my food then I asked them to fix it multiple times because I paid almost what $34 plus the two dollar tip to the cab guy who brought the delivery over and I told her to send him back so they can change my order she told me no and hanged up on my wife so I called back and I said can you please change the order or give me my money back at least for one plate I paid on credit card she said no and hanged up on me once again and said if I call back she's going to call the police on me that's crazy steeling people's money

They overcharge and not much food go to another Chinese spot they are rip offs!

Food was pretty good, large portion sizes for the price. But they always seem to be short staffed and overwhelmed. We've ordered food and had items missing, they don't seem to understand that you did not receive everything you paid for. Difficult to communicate with with the language barrier. Highly suggest the egg rolls! Just make sure they remember to put them on with your order... Lol

Online says they are open on tuesday and they are closed! What an establishment closed on tuesdays might as well stay closed! Upset first time will never go back it only takes one time!

Spring roll I got delivered were room temp and dripping with grease. Complained and they would not make it right delivery took 1 hr 10 minutes not happy ?

Great NY style Chinese food. Lots of big pork chunks in the Roast Pork Fried Rice, unlike other places that give just a few tiny pieces. Same with Chicken with Cashews and the Sweet and Sour dishes. All flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The only sorta kinda negative is they serve Chicken Fried Rice with their combination platters instead of the more traditional PFR, yet was still tasty.

First time ordering from Hot Wok. Very impressive. Great experience from ordering over the phone to the delivery. And the food was very fresh in fresh oil (you can tell), honestly... Hot Wok is now saved in my phone marked as my favorite Chinese Food spot moving forward. Thank you Hot Wok staff! ?
