Don Peppers is my most favorite Mexican restaurant away from home, I'm from Cincinnati Ohio!! I've been coming here since 2018 and the quality and atmosphere has only gotten better. Hugo does a great job with his staff and treats his customers amazing!! Make sure to see Sergio at the bar, he makes a bomb Margarita!!
Great food and service!!! The house marg is absolutely on point. I drive 20+ minutes (once a week since discovering this place) just to eat here because it is so good. As a native New Mexican I have different expectations and Don Pepper’s always delivers a great experience. Definitely a must try!!!

Wish we had found this place sooner. The fresh, complimentary salsa with cilantro was a pleasant unexpected start to our experience. Then we had the best 2 for 1 house margaritas! The meals were delicious and more than we could eat. The price of our meal was less than you would believe. This place is a must try! The waiter was very welcoming and the atmosphere was beautiful too
Me and my wife tried this place and fell in love with their food. Went back another time and it was great as usual, but the 3rd time we went, we seen a roach crawling on the floor and we told one of the workers or maybe it was the manager, but they didn't seem to care. So we have never and will never be back. The food was awesome, but for them not to act concerned about the roaches, just helped make up our minds to not go back. ?
Don Pepper is open on Sunday night, not all restaurants are, in this area. We has fajitas, fish tacos, Banderas Mexicanas, and Enchiladas Rancheros on two separate visits. Every one of those entrees was very good, but a bit mild , and there was plenty of food. Chips and salsa were served with each meal. The service was fast and efficient.
My boyfriend and I were in Daytona for SB this year and we’re craving some Mexican… THIS DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I know that I can get Mexican at home but the service was 5 stars, the food was 5 stars, and the ambience was 5 stars. I honestly wish this restaurant was in my hometown. Fully exceeded all expectations. I have never felt compelled to review a restaurant before (I’m not kidding) but this place was incredible!!!! 10/10 GO HERE
Amazing food! Have not been able to find a shredded beef taco anywhere back home buy was delightfully surprised to see it on their menu! Highly recommend the rice and black beans. Staff was friendly, service was great. Chips and salsa free, salsa was excellent!
