Took my mom out to eat she ordered fish and chips the fish was mushy, I ordered the prime rib sliced thin on a hoagie was very dry and bread was falling apart like it was old.
Great service with great food. Don't be afraid of the broccoli salad on the pickle "bar". Best thing on the bar... and it was all good.Their fried pork loin sandwich was massive!! The Rubin was delicious and the kids chicken fingers disappeared quickly. ?
Came in with a party of six, we all ordered different entree and ended up trying each other’s. EVERYTHING was excellent! We then all ordered different desserts and they were ALL amazing. Our service was wonderful too. Excellent food, amazing dessert selection (look at them on display before ordering), friendly, quick, great service sums it up. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.
We were going to Pickles at least 2-3 times a week. Service was slow, but the food was good. However, on 5-2-22, we had a horrible experience. We ordered from Pickles' pickle bar. two of the five items were not available...cook error, per the waitress. Then we ordered two pressed Cuban sandwiches. We thought the sandwiches looked strange, as they had lettuce and tomato. Then we found that they had pepperoni. We mentioned this to the waitress and she advised that she "Hit the wrong key" and ordered the "Italian Classico". When we were finished, we asked to see the manager. We wanted to tell the manager what had happened. When she came to the table, she had an attitude from hell. She said that we ate the food, so we were going to pay for it. We intended to pay for it, but thought she should know about the error. She didn't care. She advised that her family owned the restaurant. We didn't want to include a tip, she said it was in their by-laws and added a tip. Even though the service was bad, nothing tops the attitude of this arrogant, obnoxious manager.
Came in Friday night (3/25) about 7pm was told there was a wait, no problem I had been craving some meatloaf for a few weeks. Got seated ordered drinks and food. Then our awesome server had come over and said food would be a little longer due to something in the kitchen and she apologized for the wait ( we didn't realize we had waited that long at all) and said she will take care of us for sure. Got done eating asked for boxes and got the check and she took half the bill off!!! And gave us a gift certificate!! Thank you so much Ashley!! You were absolutely amazing!! Food was great!! Definitely will come back for sure!
Went for lunch today, waited about 10 minutes till we asked for our server, very nice after she showed up. Ordered the 1/2 pastrami sandwich VERY little meat, I don't know if 1/2 means sandwich or meat. First time eating there but I will try it again and order something different. Prices are reasonable.
I haven't found anything that wasn't good. Great food every time!
I had the crab cakes and I upcharged for the onion rings. I got a side of broccoli salad which was nothing like broccoli salad. I would pass on that it's more like pasta salad. The crab cakes were very good. The service was great. I went with three friends of mine and they were very pleased with their meal. I didn't get a dessert but my three companions did but they got them to go so I don't know if they were pleased I think they were because they were very excited to get home and try them! I think the meals were reasonably priced. The desserts look really yummy but I was very full with my meal actually I took half of it home.
