Crab legs are great
Came back a second time and brought more family. I had to go back to my previous TA reviews but I found it. We had some apps and drinks and main meal. Every bit of it was great. If I complained, I’d be lying. They did a great job all the way around.

I was heartbroken when DJ's Deck in Port Orange went out of business. I have been stopping there on bike rides for many years to enjoy their fabulous fish sandwich. it had no equal anywhere else. I saw some reviews for Charlie Horse and gave it a try. You walk in and seat yourself at the bar or one of the nice clean wooden booths. My server was rather slow and I noticed other tables got faster attention, so I guess service here depends on who you get. I ordered a cup of chili and the Jumbo Fish Sandwich. The chili came in a large cup and it was nice and hot. It had some beans and was very tasty and meaty, a nice starter. The fish sandwich soon came in a basket with plenty of hot french fries. The sandwich was amazing and looked just like the one's I got at DJ's. There was several small curled pieces of fried fish that were hot and tasty. And it was piled up high, probably a good six inches tall. It had some shredded lettuce on the bottom bun and two long pickle slices on the top. A small cup of tartar sauce was in the basket too. I really enjoyed the sandwich and the fries were hot and fresh. I thought the prices of everything were reasonable too, especially with inflation hitting every business hard. I will be stopping in again in the future for the second best fish sandwich I've had so far in Florida.
Great local place for wings. Way better than the "franchise" chains. The wings were big and the sauces were tasty. It's definitely on out go-to list when staying in Daytona.
First time here. All that we ordered was "off the hook". The crab bisque was creamy an delicious. The fish fry plate had the best fish I have eaten in a very long time. The fish sandwich was very well cooked and delicious. We'll be back for drinks and food next time.
Amazing is all I have to say please go check them out if you have not already you want be disappointed rather your a local or just visiting for vacation and everyday is something different rather it's all you can eat crab leg day or shrimp day and the bartender Mrs. Diane is a sweetheart and very friendly staff. Just thank me later ?
Ordered dinner from here for takeout because it's the only place nearby that has orange cake!! It was scrumptious! The sirloin Wednesday special is definitely worth it according to my mom! The grilled shrimp and clam chowder were amazing! The Seafood Combo was great according to my dad!! You can tell how great this place is by how busy it is! Glad I ordered takeout because this seems to be the city's hottest joint for some dinner!!!!
Very nice place with a lot of smiling employees... food was good , properly cooked and a good value; you can't ask for more than that!
We live in New York and look forward to stopping at Charlie Horse every time we go to Florida for vacation. Our family of seven love the steak and seafood. Great food and service.
