Don't order the chow mein if you are expecting authentic ch'ao mien (literally translates to stir fried noodles). We ordered the chicken chow mein thinking we were getting chicken noodle stir fry. What we got was a ton of soggy cabbage in a gross sauce with some flavorless chicken. We thought they made a mistake so I called to let them know and the lady on the phone was very rude and told me next time to order the right thing if I want noodles. The rude attitude seems to be a theme here looking at the other reviews. We also ordered two larger orders of pork fried rice and I had it for the first time without putting any sauce in it. It was also flavorless and they didn't pack the container like other restaurants do. There was probably one container worth of rice between the two containers. There are other Chinese restaurants in Lake Nona. Just go to one of them.

Today I went to Zhang’s Garden for the first time. I ordered my food on GrubHub and paid and then proceeded to pick it up. Upon arrival, I let the young lady at the front know what I had ordered and that I made an online purchase. She confirmed that the bag was indeed my food, looked at the receipt and demanded I pay. I let her know that I had already paid. She then said to me “$48.37”. I let her know once more that I had paid already and took my phone out to show the receipt that I’d been e-mailed. She refused to look at it and began yelling and berating me, saying “$48.37! $48.37!”. There was no explanation just the assumption of dishonesty on my part. It wasn’t until another employee from the back asked if I had placed the order with GrubHub and I answered “yes”, then I received my food. Absolutely no apology or mention of recompense or remorse. I’m a quite visibly disabled woman with deformities due to chronic illness. This whole debacle was embarrassing to say the least. I was treated with exceptional disrespect without the courtesy of so much as an apology. The woman didn’t even extend me the decency of giving the receipt a second glance, which you can clearly see in the image attached, that it says “prepaid, DO NOT CHARGE”. I decided not to make a scene and called back to inform the manager what had happened and they then apologized. I think the biggest atrocity that took place was the fact that I suffered through that humiliation for dry rubbery rice and overcooked chicken. Absolutely uncouth behavior and poor service for mediocre food at best.
I ordered a sesame chicken combo meal. The food temperature was good. The chicken was over cooked and dried out. There was very little sauce. The fried rice was very dry. The egg roll did not taste fresh. I ate half the meal. The other half I threw away. The packet duck sauce had zero flavor. Very bland. I was only going to give a one star rating- except that the inside of the restaurant was very clean. I definitely would not recommend. Very disappointing!!
Worst Chinese food ever and fried rice no better than what you can get in walmart freezer . The service is super fast because they put no effort into quality. I will never go.back.. Going to your Facebook page is not how you resolve this. To this date months later this business has done nothing to resolve the issue of my uncooked food, As I said, avoid this place, bad food and bad customer service..
Guys if you really love Asian food, do yourself a favor, please visit Zhang Garden. It is an amazing restaurant for authentic Chinese food. Very clean inside and out, very friendly staff, fast service and awesome food.
I took my wife to it and she's been asking me to take her back every since! They are courteous, professional, and great cooks!! Delicious in every bite!!!
If you want Chinese food that isnt greasy, this is the place! Hadn't been here before so I simply asked the server what he would order and he said Mongolian Beef, so that's what I got! SO GOOD !!!!
First time order wings where over fried and greasy. My fried dumplings where not good soggy. Very poor food.
