But why is it so expensive... and the food isn't great. Had the Nashville hot chicken. It was dry! Paid 19 dollars for dry chicken... the only thing good on that plate was the pickles. My hubby had some chicken dinner... 30 dollars. I mean really. And it wasn't even that good. Quite disappointed. I wouldn't go there again.

Had the Kale BLT salad. Delicious and highly recommend. I also added red snapper as more protein to further elevate my already gourmet salad.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time and last night we ate at Knife and Spoon at the Ritz in the same hotel and it wasn’t even close. Unique, interesting takes on all American dishes with bright and vibrant flavors. I could not more highly recommend this place. And when our skirt steak came out a little late it was because the chef didn’t feel it was cooked quite perfectly so the sous chef re-cooked it till it was just right. And baby it was! Who does that at such a causal eatery?? - that’s class and excellence at work. Thank you for a great a meal and keep it up team! We notice your fine work!

We ordered drinks and food and it was just okay. The prices range from $16 up for entrees. Portions are on the smaller side and the food is below average. I ordered the pizza and the crust was stale in consistency and the actual toppings and flavor was a step above of an oven baked pizza. The kids had the sliders and they were dry. The chips were decent, but also stale. Our server was really nice, but our food came out in waves. We first got a pizza, then one child meal, and 10 minutes later another one. For a "high end" area and pricing, I would steer clear. We ate at the pool the next night and it was much better.

Terrible. There’s no other way to explain it. The host at the front was awesome and accommodating. After a 45 minute wait, the taste of regret came at the first bite.My skirt steak was burnt. My son’s chicken sliders were not edible. The beef sliders were ok, but not worth even close to the price. My wife barely ate her smoked chicken, although juicy, it was bland. Not worth the wait and definitely extremely overpriced.

We were lucky enough to have Jessica as a server last night at The Lobby Lounge and tonight across the way at The Kitchen along with Sharon at The Kitchen as our bartender. They both made our experience as enjoyable as it could have been. We actually went to the Kitchen twice today because the food the first time around was so good. Best meat and cheese platter (charcuterie board?) We have ever had.

Let me start out by saying that over the last week, I have had 2 outstanding meals at Knife and Spoon and Highball and Harvest at this gorgeous resort property. Unfortunately tonight after a long day we thought we would try The Kitchen for a late dinner. I ordered the “Farm Salad” for $17 which the menu touts as having farm veggies, a quail egg, bacon, Parmesan cheese and lemon vinaigrette. The server was pleasant but the salad was ridiculously poor. I am being generous if I said there was an ounce of veggies or bacon in total on the salad. The vinaigrette was so bland that leaving it off would not have changed the flavor, the Parmesan should have been shaved and was not freshly grated. Ninety nine percent of the salad was mixed greens, which were pristine in appearance due to the lack of any other components as were described in the menu. I definitely was disappointed, and when the server asked how everything was I let him know. He saw the lettuce without any other items and still included it on the check. Will not try this one again. We stayed two nights to enjoy the pool and friends. After having lunch for 3 days at the pool it was excellent to find The Kitchen located in the lobby close to the pool. They source their food locally, farm to table. We even got a chance to see their own vegetable garden. Although the food was good what really deserves a 5 Star review is the service. Our server Shandreas not only offered stellar service, she was patient, knowledgeable and informative about the menu. They have gluten free options and a kid healthy menu. She recommended the margaritas and they were delicious. Shandreas steered us in the right direction. Wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Great service and excellent farm fresh food

I’m a big eater. I also had a prime rib but I didn’t take a picture, it was just a rib and no sides or at least I don’t remember. Anyways everything was good. The pizza was the best. Believe me the pizza is all you need. I could’ve ate that all day. I don’t usually drink and I don’t like chocolate but that was the best drink I ever had.
