Positive: The staff were very pleasant, I’ve met many and every single person was beyond pleasant especially Chucho,Maria, and Max they were a breath of fresh air. The suites were very spacious for my family of 5. We enjoyed all of the amenities especially the fire pit. Beds were beyond comfortable and so were the pillows. Check-in process was easy and fast. Whatever you need the resort makes sure the address the situation immediately.\\n\\nNegatives: From the time we arrived there had been issues after issues. The key cards were not working and we were issued 7. The tub would not fill up past the jets, the toilets clogged, and the doors would not close properly. We had to be moved to another room due to so many issues and he second room wasn’t any better. There were no coffee mugs or proper kitchen utensils. I found a roach in one of the cabinets and there were ants on the dressers. The rooms are very dated and are in need of serious upgrading.
Main lobby is super nice. Staff is very friendly. Property is beautiful. Rooms are very run down and in dire need of renovation. Our bathroom lights quit working. Our shower floor is stained and chipped. Bathroom floor tiles are loose. No towel hooks or shelves in shower to hold toiletries. Needed different room key to use gym and didn't want to hassle with it so I wasn't able to use it, should've been warned upon check-in. Parking is limited, had to walk quite far to our room each night. Would definitely not stay again.
The lobby and resort itself are very nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall, our room was nice. The beds were clean and very comfortable. However, the blinds were broken and we had trouble closing them to block out the bright lights from the parking lot. The shower seemed to be stained from age and wear, and the shower head was a bit rusted/corroded and falling out of the wall. We reported it to the desk. We had a King bed, pull-out sofa bed, jacuzzi tub, microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee pot, along with a few dishes, which was convenient. The rooms are clearly labeled for non-smoking, but we watched the people in the room next to us walk out of the room into the enclosed shared corridor, light up, and blow cigarette smoke in our faces as we were trying to get into our room. We promptly told the front desk and they were very helpful in taking care of the issue. The bell services staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant and shop staff members were prompt and courteous. There were a lot of amenities offered and several pools as well, which were very nice. We were fairly close to the Disney Parks (about 15 min drive). Overall, this resort was a good value for our family.
The room was very nice with a comfortable king-size bed. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, so I wouldn't plan on having anyone sleep on it. The room had an enormous jetted tub, which was great. The water park at the resort was fun. My 8 year-old loved the lazy river, wave pool, and slide. He told me several times that the resort was the best vacation he'd ever been on and did want to leave. I would definitely go back.
I book this place because I was solicited to pay $100.00 for three nights. This place is too crowed. Can’t fine a parking place near the room. Had to park very close to the welcome center for two nights and had to walk very far to the room. The room is spacious and clean. The property is very clean but crowed. Didn’t use water park, pools, Mini golf or any recreational activities on the property due to Very crowed. The thermostat doesn’t work in the room when we arrive. Called the front desk, To ask for someone to fix. 1 1/2 hr later no one showed up. Called front desk again and ask if someone was coming to fix. Was told the engineer maybe running late. At 11:45 pm some one showed up but can’t fix it. He just Disconnected the thermostat and let the unit deactivate. I told him, I’ll just leave the porch door open so it will not be so cold in the room. Was fed up. Did not bother to call the front desk again. Very poor service.We had to attend a seminar for this stay. The sale person was pushing me to buy a timeshare, I told him, I’m not buying. I’m not interested. I’m not into time share. This is the first and last time I’ll stay with this company. They want to take my money but they don’t care about me when I call for service.
You pay for the hotel thinking it’s all included but then they charge you for amenities! And by the time you are ready to use their amenities you still have to pay for the water park $20 per person per day after $60 of Amenities for 2 night stay ! To top it off I’m wife and I forgot our hanged clothes in the closet so when we returned our later they said they never found anything! So o guess the hotel through it out or the staff took for them selves! Really dirty bathrooms too! Never again and for the price I paid for a villa I could have gotten much better somewhere else!
The resort is nice and is very close to the main eating and shopping areas. My kids loved the waterpark. However, mini golf was always crowded and we couldn't get on the boats because of the wind. But other than that, the atmosphere was nice and Drafts was amazing. They had quite a bit of a wait time but the food was good. I would think they would make people leave tables if the table was clear and the patrons were done eating. I only say that because the wait was like an hour! The parking is terrible at night. So bad, it makes you not want to leave because YOU WON'T HAVE A PARKING SPOT!!! My husband would have to drop us off and drive all the way to the parking garage. And the night it poured, he was soaking wet!! This was for the entire week we stayed. Housekeeping was prompt with responses. I like the fact that you can text and someone responds. I had to use that method because the lone stayed busy with high call volumes. But they came when we needed them!
It's a Timeshare Family Vacation Spot as well as Daily rentals. 4 pools, mid size water park, mini golf, paddle boats..on site Rest.serves breakfast, lunch & dinner, good selections, reasonable prices, they serve u plenty. Rooms are spacious. 1,2 3 bedrooms. Friendly staff, walk along the river paths, 4 miles from Disney, closer to Universal.We had a great time.
I am not sure why this hotel has such high reviews, probably from the “owners”. We arrived to check in and immediately I knew something was off. There was this nice gentleman that offered us to do a tour “free of charge” for us to only see the hotel and for me to pay a $20 dollars deposit. I did but we then decided not to go. I didn’t get my money back but that is not the worst part. When we arrived to the room, this room was so old and dirty. The microwave and couch was stained with paint, the jacuzzi was dirty and the ceiling fan was broken. In addition, the AC did not work. Besides you have to share an entrance with another person and the people right next to us were so loud and partying until 3 AM. The only thing nice about this hotel is the pools as they have several on the premises. If you want to play any sport, they charge as you need to “rent” the equipment. There is no control of the areas, people jumping to the pool with regular clothes just because they are “owners”.After we checked out, they wanted to charge me an additional fee and nobody was able to explain me why. I then contacted HQ and they apologized for the mistake. Stay here at your own risk.
Just returned from staying at 2 bedroom condo for a week. We booked thought VRBO and didn’t do timeshare presentation.The good: the grounds are beautiful, the water park is $20 per person but really nice and fun for kids.So many walking paths , miniature golf, multiple pools and hot tubs. Perfect to spend time outside.The Bad: our 2 bedroom condo was in a great need of complete renovation. Every single appliance was not working properly. The oven never reached 450 degrees, the fridge was leaking, the dryer was screeching but the dishwasher almost caught condo on fire!!!We put dishes in and thankfully were still inside when it started smoking and filled the whole place with toxic melted plastic smell! I can’t even imagine what would happen if we left to the parks 10 minutes early. We reported to maintenance and they sent a repair man but we did not risk it to try to wash dishes again.The toilets we’re running all night, and the showers needed deep cleaning not just wiping.I loved the resort but hated the condo. Maybe will stay again in a new building where everything is brand new.
