Keep in mind, I went on a Saturday and they were busy. NO RSVP options. 3/10Food: Pork-belly with Chimichurri 10/10 AMAZING, so much flavor, The elite beef 10/10 very tender and juicy, Sea food tower 9/10 (a bit pricy for the amount of seafood provided). But i will comment the sea food was very fresh and everything was properly prepped was visually appealing. Overall 9/10.Ambiance: This is a Japanese Pub/Eatery. Not so much an official restaurant. Music is staple in most bars and typically louder than your traditional dining experience. Average age range observed were mainly late 20’s-early 30%, so its pretty lively. Lighting is fairly low, but the menu is seen using your phone. Many bar stools available and nicely decorated.Restrooms: Restrooms were pretty, clean, pleasant smell and fully stocked. 10/10Cleanliness: Bar tops, tables, chairs and main floor room are promptly cleaned for the next guest to be seated. 10/10Timing: Food was delivered fast, fresh and tasty. 10/10Likeliness to return: 8/10Consider Alternatives: Bulla located in the Winter Park area in orlando florida is also comparable to this format of dining.Additional Comments: Handicap parking is limited, only one observed. The food and drinks were great. This place is very popular so if you go late be prepared to wait. Small plates and craft cocktails that you order at the bar and they bring yo your seat. All first come first serve on seating some tables, bar area, booths and sofa and chair seating areas.
This is a MUST visit place when in Orlando! The whole aspect of it is completely different. You will not regret (it might be tough to find seating) BUT at the end it’s worth it. Food is always on 100% and so are the drinks. Food is kinda like small tapas servings, so you’re gonna have to order a lot of them to get a full dinner out of it. There’s servers that only bring out your food, they don’t take order, all the food and drinks have to be ordered at the bar. I would say this place is more of a hang out and drinks type of place, perfect to go with a group of friends for good time! Also, parking is limited, make sure you’re parking at the right places, you don’t want your car towed late at night, like mine did ?.
This place is phenomenal!! Head Chef Alex is a pleasure. Service top notch and bartenders are excellent, heavy pour requests not needed ?We shared most of the menu amongst us and nothing remained except the avocado which for some would just be fantastic, we're just not big fans of warm avo.Highly recommend!! Come hungry with plenty of people to share everything!Big personal favs... any skewer with chimichurri, the steaks, the wings, corn, peppers, both pork belly options, anything with tare, blue crab dip w/whole grain mustard... I could list the whole menu! ❤❤
Nice late night spot for dinner, music, and drinks. Food and drinks were good. If you're looking to mingle or be around people this is definitely the place. For those who enjoy tapas, I recommend trying this place. The food comes out pretty fast as well.My only con is that after a certain time (we got there around 9) it's a little hard to find an empty place to sit and eat.
Great drinks and crazy good Japanese bar food. Drinks and food are made quickly and super hot/fresh. Tables are open seating and gets crowded quickly, so plan accordingly if you're with a large group.
Excellent mixed drinks and great small plates in an enjoyable atmosphere. I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. While the drinks are very good, the food is where this place shines. I have tried almost everything on the menu and there is not a dish I haven't enjoyed. There is a great variety of Japanese inspired food and cocktails. There is also a good beer selection. Drinks are ordered and prepared at the bar. Food is ordered at the bar and brought to your seating area. It can be quite busy earlier in the night and parking can be a challenge.
I went here to celebrate a birthday in the evening. The atmosphere is somewhat like a Lounge. You seat yourself. Bartender was amicable and engaged us with funny conversation. The drinks were super strong but good and worth the price. We ordered blue crab and corn croquettes, pork belly gyoza, garlic crab fried rice, smoked trout/ blue crab dip and pork belly skewer. The food was amazing. Must go again. #tryit
Very cool place. Unique cocktails including some signature highball drinks as well. The bar food was tasty and shareable with your table. If you want a chic date night this is a great place to hit up
I would not recommend this place. I went there to eat with a group of friends we were visiting the area and this place was highly recommended by our friends who live in the area. The first time we went the restaurant could not have guest due to them experiencing system issues. We went back the day after because we really wanted to try it. The two servers that helped us were great, they were nice and assisted us I believe their names were: Tan and Sarah. There was some confusion with our order we were a big group and one of my friends never received her food. when we brought up the issue the manager I believe the name was Cassey came out and accused her us of receiving the food and lying about it insinuating that we were stealing. It should be noted that this is a tapas restaurant so we were sharing food with her. He pointed out to the food she was eating and insinuated that she was lying about not receiving her order. the Manager (Cassey) was dismissive and spoke to us in a very unprofessional manner, he did not approach the table with the intent of resolving the issue. later that night when I went to close my tab I told him that I did not appreciate the way he spoke to our table he laughed at my face. The food was good but nothing is worth this kind of customer service from a manager.
