I heard good things about this place from friends and they did not disappoint. Service was relatively quick and they show you the food before they give it to you(I took mine to go) to make sure your order is good? Not sure why but I'm glad they do. I was pretty surprised as to how much food they give you. Bring cash, card has a 3% upcharge. I think they use square for digital payments.
In January I traveled to what was Taste of Jamaica from Deltona.Pleased to see the renovation. Look really nice. Had been going to the Restaurant for 9 plus years. Noticed the young lady behind the register wasn’t a familiar face.She stated it was under new management, with different cook. I stated I traveled a good distance and I hope I would be just as satisfied. Looking at my food , almost gave me second thoughts. The cashier said they hadn’t had any complaints.Got home there was no peas in the rice, I ordered extra meat, not there. The rice was dry and the oxtails were tuff. I called back to speak with a manager. I was told to come back and they would give me peas, not replace the meal. I explained I lived in Deltona. The reply was that’s all we can do.I called everyone I knew that was going to the Restaurant from the previous owner. With the money they spent on the renovation, they could have at least made sure the cook was on POINT.Rude, unprofessional. First and last time going back… I had to give a rating. It would have been 0If I knew were the previous owner moved to, I would definitely go there…
Totally redone in a modern and beautiful setting, under new management and soon to be Top Class Jamaican Restaurant. Went there for my son's birthday, the oxtail was falling off the bone, the Jerry chicken was excellent, curry chicken was amazing. The staff And owners were very friendly and accommodating. I'll be back to sample more. Yummy.
This place has a bar and music!!! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner!!! Food is amazing, the vibes are crazy! I felt like I was there. I can't wait for the weather to be warmer and they open the outside bar. My wife didn't know they had a bar and music. She can't wait to go back.
Food was very good but the service was poor. Hopefully, service gets better. Counter person was not very aware of what's available and pricing
Great authentic Jamaican food. Been to Jamaica 2 times it’s the real deal. There Jerk chicken is my favorite. One item I consider at a restaurant is how clean they keep their bathrooms. They passed that test with flying colors! Great knowing they keep their place clean
We are well known here and they are very clean, very pleasant and my husband loves the Brown Stewed Fish with extra gravy. Most of the time they know who I am and what I want. I have too laugh ?
Ordered Ackee and codfish and cornmeal porridge. It was delicious. Taste just like my fam makes. Only complaint I have is what they call fried dumplings is not fried dumplings. It’s festival rolled into a knot lol. Still tastes good but would have rather real fried dumplings to go with my dish.

Got food poisoned from this place, woman up fromt doesnt wear a mask when owner isnt in sight, she was blowing snot out her nose wiped it with her hands and opened my food touched my utensils and shoved the food at me, This place spreads covid stsy away
