Hands down the worst meal I’ve had since the pandemic. A Rueben that was room temperature, a waiter that took 10 minutes to refill water and a Cobb salad with brown lettuce and gross hard ham.
CUSTOMER SERVICESeveral great experiences here with one of the young servers that does a great job, but every other time we've gone, the service and attitudes from the other servers and girl at the counter for pick up, have been really bad. If you're striving for customer service, don't sigh and act put out when you mess up an order or are asked to order something. There has been a mess up almost every time. After more than several bad experiences I will not be spending my money here anymore. It's a shame, since the food is really good.
The staff was wonderful in accommodating our group of 7 and very helpful. LOTS of choices and you can get breakfast any time. Reasonable prices and parking is no problem. Staff kept in touch during our meal to make sure we had everything we needed. Can get items to go at the deli.
Great little place. Super friendly staff. Would definitely go back again if ever in Orlando again.
Placed an order for a company lunch today. My order was correct with no errors. I saw where the order list was checked off on each one and it was really nice to have my order delivered exactly how it was placed. Thank you to the Colonial TooJay's for all your efforts!
Staff is amazing! Everyone cheerful (except man seating people. He didn’t seem to be happy today), staff happy and eager to help. KiKi was AMAZING!! Very helpful with menu and going out of her way to bring our food outside. She recommended red velvet cheesecake for my daughters and they LOVED it! Great job!
I went to TooJay's Deli and got the Triple J and while it was filling it just wasn't good. The meat was cold...and they basically took all three meats and rolled them into a log and put them on a slice of bread. And it had cole slaw in the middle. Like this was putting a round ball in a square hole type of situation. So cold meat is not my thing - I didn't realize it would be cold and that's on me but this meat roll that came out just didn't work for me. It would be better if it was layered with coleslaw on top. Overall the coleslaw was good and the sauce was good but the meat was just bland...kind of tasteless. It definitely needed the coleslaw and sauce. It was just an average lunch IMO. I would try something else next time if I go back. My friend got the turkey reuben and it was good but lacked enough dressing and was kind of dry otherwise.Another issue is that for 2 sandwiches it was $30. $30 for lunch seems a bit excessive IMO.
Had a New Year’s Eve party catered by TooJays, can’t say enough how great it all went. Holly Hegg, catering manager did an amazing job in putting it all together. The 2 servers were fantastic setting up in the room and getting the food out, hot and delicious. Already signed up for next year.
Maybe it was an off night, but it wasn't a good experience. Hadn't been here in a while and a friend was visiting who wanted to go. Our server was total deer in the headlights. We ordered items that never came to our table and she seemed surprised when we told her and asked for them to be removed from our check. Food was meh... nothing really stood out. What a bummer, I used to really enjoy eating here.
We ate in and we were seated quickly in spite of the line. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. I didn’t like the fish and chips and she had it taken off the bill without me even asking for it.
