Great comfort food! The server was super nice and friendly. We happened upon this place and we pleasantly surprised and satisfied. We will be back!
Burger joint dressed up as a grilled cheese restaurant. Ordered the fig & goat and a burger & fries. Also ordered Mac & cheese which were very gluey and was supposed to be toasted but was burnt on the outside. Burger didn’t have much taste and the fries were too salted.Good place to take the kiddos but think they were trying to do upscale burger and grilled cheese sandwiches and they missed
Different and original. Loved all the choices of yummy grilled cheese. Truffle fries are so yum.
Great little vegan place with some delicious options. Plenty of indoor seating and one table outside at well. I got the mushroom burger with the veggie patty and it was sooooooo good.
Went in today with my family and my goodness the food was 100% perfect. Please don't stop whatever you're doing! You will see me more. Even the tomatoes on my burger were outstanding! And I grow my own in my garden. Best food around! Burger was cooked perfect. The grillcheese was amazing and the mac n cheese was yummy!
You HAVE to try out their fig & goat sandwich.Ok, not a huge fan of the restaurant interior however. It has like this yellow cheese interior, it’s quite disturbing, for me at least.But the fig & goat makes up for it, for the final Doug score of 5/5.I also tried my friend’s steak sandwich it was also really good. Burger, not so much.
We visited while in town for a soccer tournament. The staff is friendly, the food is good and the prices aren't too bad. Heads up that the staff clean up after you- it's not something you'd anticipate when you walk in , but you do have the option to tip when you pay for your order.
The employee working the counter was very pleasant. I asked for the basic grilled cheese, which is cheddar in artisan bread and added bacon. I chose to eat in because it was an off time and there weren’t many people there. There are a fair number of regular tables and high tops. The sandwich came out quickly and was very tasty. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The amount of both cheese and bacon was great. To be honest, I’d say it was in the top five grilled cheese sandwiches I’ve had. I know you’re probably thinking, it’s just a grilled cheese, what can go wrong? Let me tell you, a few years ago, at a different restaurant, I ordered a grilled cheese with bacon, but hold the tomato. The waiter brought out a sandwich with bacon and tomato, but no cheese. She was perplexed when I pointed out that my grilled cheese was missing the cheese. Back to Toasted, I’d recommend the place highly.
Great food. I had the *A Gouda as it Gets* sandwich, the flavor was delicious. This is also a hearty sandwich with a good amount of chicken and the bread slices were large. The tomato soup was awesome, the menu says it is "homemade" so hopefully made fresh there not from a box. And the truffle fries were good too. Clean. Pleasant staff.
At first I heard this was just a “place for grilled cheese,” but considering what all ELSE you can put on there, it’s a lot more than that. :) Fun place with a friendly vibe, lots of variations on grilled cheese and burgers to mix things up. Table, counter, and outdoor seating options. The tomato basil soup is really good, and thick enough for dipping a sandwich. Prices are fair; I wish there were some more side options, but what they have is pretty good!
