Delish tacos and friendly staff!!
Our first visit to Tin & Taco was before the Billy Joel concert on March 12, 2022. We used mobile order so we could grab our tacos and go to the show. They weren't ready for approx 20 minutes after the text & email confirmation said that they would be. The tacos were decent & we figured it was just the crowd. Tried them again last night, again mobile ordering. When we arrived the cashier took my name & said it would be 8 minutes. 15 minutes later I was back at the register as
Food was delicious. Very yummy. One of my problems was the druink lid being double making it hard to put in my straw. The taco bomb was also small. Other than that the food was pretty good ?
I went to this restaurant early last Friday evening for the first time ever. My best friend said this place was the vibe when it most definitely wasn’t. There was an employee, whom I later learned was a manager, screaming at another employee. She was cursing left and right and threatening to harm the other employee. I honestly have to admit, I stayed for the tea, haha. But it was completely unprofessional. I don’t know if the other employee did something to her, but it definitely sounded work related. I could hear EVERYTHING, she was yelling so loud. It seemed as if she went outside to cool down, I guess, but she then got into it with ANOTHER employee outside! I don’t know what goes on in Tin & Taco of Downtown Orlando, but I definitely would not recommend this location, unless you want to see and HEAR a display of hostility and emotion! As for the food, I guess my friend must come here drunk to enjoy the food, because the tacos were awful. The toppings were weird and the crust on the tortilla was okay, but VERY greasy and soggy. I was told they were crispy, fresh, and that I would love them. They honestly made me want to puke. Maybe I will try another location, since I heard there are more options to choose from elsewhere. Horrible first experience and never will I return. Cool idea, I guess, if it was done better! Try Gringos Locos in Downtown Orlando! Their food is great and they have a better, less complicated menu to choose from!
Went to the Lake Mary location for dinner tonight and was a little disappointed. I went last week for lunch and portions were huge. Tonight my taco was about half the size. Still great taste just not as consistent in size. The tacos are great and will be coming back but I hope the tacos will be closer to the first time I came. I raved about this place to everyone and said I want to celebrate my 30th birthday here in March.
The food was amazing! I loved the different selections that you can not get at your average taco restaurant. I totally recommend the Tin Nachos, and the Mac Attack Taco. They both were super flavorful and delicious. I asked them some questions about what would be best based off the things I like and they were spot on. The have their own sodas as well. I like the lemon berry açaí drink was so good, so amazing! ??
Fantastic place! A must go when in Orlando!!
So awesome! The staff and food was sensational! I would highly, highly recommend any one to try em out. I cannot wait to try something else on their delicious menu!
I did the Beef Taco's, the shells were soft shell cooked perfect!! Had the "Boom Boom" The best Taco's I think I ever had! Great Job!!
The downtown location is small with indoor/outdoor seating. The menu offers a variety of innovative tacos, bowls, salads, wraps, & burritos. Each taco is served on a parmesan crusted tortilla shell which is an unexpected treat. The Al Pastor style taco was very good.
