Anytime I’m in the mood for Mexican food, my first thought is to go to Tijuana Flats. They have a great menu without having too many options, and their hot sauces are actually good! I find their food to be consistently good, and a delicious way to end the night.
The staff was nice which caused the stars toBe two. However, sadly our food was expensive and incorrect. First we didn't receive our drinks, the food took forever to come out, but what really did it was our 16$ wings came out raw. The staff was great though just be thorough when checking your meal.
Didn't secure lid on queso, leaked all over bag. Called and waited on hold fo 20+ minutes and no one answered the phone.
The food is great here don’t get me wrong but for some reason the people who work here are terrible at getting the orders correct. We have been here over a dozen times and not once have they get our order fully right. They either forgot something or got the order wrong. Make sure to check your order if you’re placing it to go order to make sure that they did not forget anything and that they did everything correct.
Called to place an order for pickup at 9:30pm and was told they were not doing anymore to go orders without any explanation. Asked to speak to a manager and was told "HE WAS BUSY". Tijuana Flats has never treated me so badly and they just didn't care. I am completely aware of their hours of operation and they close at 10pm. To stop serving people 30 minutes before without cause or explanation is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
New to the area first time trying this place out and I will definitely recommend!
Great spot! Large outdoor seating area, the staff is friendly. The food takes a little longer than usual but that could be due to shortened staffs everywhere. Be courteous, patient, and understanding, it's not staffers fault they are short staffed. They showed to work, give them a break. This is one of my more favorite Tijuana Flats.
The food is generally good, but the estimated time to get your order is never accurate. Hard to fathom an online order taking 45+ minutes and being 30 minutes past the time it was supposed to be ready.
They only delivered half of my order. Refused to come back with the rest. And the trio with chips, guac, salsa… comes with a big bag of chips and serving size bowls of the dips.
We placed an order on line. We went to pick it up and again had to wait on it because they said our order was taken. We waited and waited took our order home and we were shorted one meal! 6 employees standing around and they couldn’t complete our order correctly!
