We went for 5 de Mayo. It got very busy. You order at counter and they bring you the food to your table. There’s also takeout. Plenty of food served on each plate. Its in a mall so there’s plenty of free parking.
a great tex-max fast-food chain with a wide variety of menu options that include tacos, burritos, flautas, nachos, wings, and more. i also appreciate that they have a variety of protein options too. the portions are generous so any meal is super filling. the chips are seasoned so they’re better than most fast-food tortilla chips. in my opinion, they also have the best queso! the atmosphere in here is unlike any other chain restaurant- there are fun murals on every wall, painted ceiling tiles, and pictures of celebrities at the different TFlats locations. there’s also a hot sauce bar with about a dozen, creatively-named sauces to pair with whatever meal you get. the staff is friendly and the service is quick, and both indoor and outdoor seating available.
This place unfortunately has gone down the hill after the pandemic. I know there is inflation but reduction in portion size is unacceptable. This was THE place I use to eat at when I visited Orlando before pandemic. The whole restaurant was filled with fish smell. They need to do something about it
Manager there had a attitude last time i was there so i asked employees there who that was they said it was the main manager of the place I come here regularly she was there today and yells at me from the back hope your having a better day today before I could respond she walks around the wall real quick the other employees looked shocked as was i that she would be so disrespectful we decided not to eat there employees were very sympathetic and apologized for their managers behavior pretty sure the people that were eating there already were also surprised the manager at this place needs to be fired
I always love their flautas! Comes with a side of lettuce, sour cream and guacamole. The hot sauces are great as well! Everyone enjoyed their tacos and meals! Delicious!
Shrimp bowl was delicious.Clean and fast lunchtime food.
The chicken chimichanga was good and a reasonable size. I ordered the “meal” of adding a drink and rice and beans, for almost $4. Now the size of the “sides” were hardly a side, they were 4oz containers of rice and beans. The value is lacking, so I probably won’t be back to this chain of restaurants.
Signage indicates that everyone entering must wear a mask unless at a table. While staff wear masks, none had them on properly - a tall gentleman had his pulled down from his nose and a young lady had her’s pulled over her chin; both while assisting customers. Additionally, the utensils were served half-hazardly IN the food, which one staff member saw I was cleaning it off after they delivered it and took zero action to correct it. Very disappointed.
The cooks do not wear masks while cooking. I called in ahead of time and asked nicely if the cooks wear masks and please ensure that they do. When I went to pick up my food the guy in the back that was preparing my food was not wearing a mask. No mask while preparing food during a pandemic. How unsafe and careless.
