superb!! very enjoyable experience. Excellent food and staff.
I go to tiffins every time I go to animal kingdom for like 8 years twice a year. The chef use to be a chef from Africa...now the chef has put his own twist on things. The grilled octopus has no harmony...the whole fried fish has a dirt taste to it and the sauce is not complimentary to the fish...the chicken dish was good though...the steak was average...the kitchen was also behind...the desserts were good (we ordered all)...the lion king was flavorful...the lemon dessert was the best...the rest were ok...nonetheless, I won't be booking tiffins for awhile. I hope the qaulity of the product increases in harmony.
Amazing food. Amazing ambience.
The service is excellent. The staff were able to handle a variety of dietary issues including vegetarian, vegan, and nut allergies. There is a great selection of mocktails. We had the tofu curry, breads, taco & 3 layered desert. The food was very good. Make sure you make a reservation for this Disney Animal Kingdom restaurant.
Nice food and atmosphere Great drinks Good sized meals
In short, the food was lackluster and did not live up to expectations. The waiter we had was somewhat untrained (my wife asked about a Chianti and his reply was "What's that?"). That said, service was attentive and friendly and the decor is stunning. We went to Tiffins on Saturday, July 2, 2022. Our reservation was for 5pm, but when we went to look at the menu, the hostess said we could be seated earlier. We accepted even though we weren't quite hungry, figuring we could pace ourselves through drinks and appetizers, working our way to a main course. We did not make it past the apps. The drinks we ordered were good to start. For starters, we ordered the bread selection, the spiced falafel, and the lobster mac and cheese (an "add-on" but they were kind enough to let us order it as an app). The spiced falafel was bland - there was nothing to it and all of the characteristics of good falafel had been stripped away. The texture was a bit too dense. For something that was spiced (and yes, we're familiar with the idea of spice not necessarily being hot and spicy), it lacked any kind of flavor (all of our taste buds are currently working). We've had falafel all over the world. This, by far, was the worst in that it had no character. The bread selection consisted of a sweet bread, a chip of some sort, and pita bread. The sweet bread was decent, particularly with the pomegranate chutney, but the pita bread was nearly raw. It was as though someone had turned off the burner and it sat in a hot pan just long enough so that the dough wouldn't fall apart. The other sauces were fine, but uninteresting. The lobster Mac and cheese was an anomaly on the menu, it didn't really fit the theme. But we're from New England and we looked at it as a taste from home. The cheese used was extremely sharp (by our estimation, a sharp cheddar), and it drowned out the taste of lobster completely. It would have been a fine Mac and cheese in its own right, but adding in the lobster did nothing but push the price up and up. In retrospect, we were lucky - we chose to pace ourselves and left before we invested more time and money into an overpriced, below average meal. We chose to cut our losses and leave most of the food on the table. My recommendation? Skip Tiffins and go to Yak & Yeti instead. The decor may be more rustic and you lose the intimacy and upscale feel of Tiffins, but Y & Y more than makes up for that with the flavor and quality of the food.
Delicious food, great service and atmosphere. It did not feel crowded. The appetizers were great, but a bit small. The entrees were exceptional. The vegetarian dish was excellent, but the tofu was pretty average. The cauliflower side is that made the dish. The 50th anniversary veal was also great and the mushroom sauce really bright it together. We ordered beer flights which was a pretty good value for $10.
Some of the BEST FOOD ON PROPERTY! The fish, AMAZING! Pork belly, AMAZING! Bread service, AMAZING!Christian our server was the epitome of what a server should be! He was pleasant proactive and professional! Thank you Christian for enhancing an already amazing experience, Christian!
I am normally pretty picky when it comes to shrimp, it's either over cooked or under cooked. This shrimp was perfect! The grits were the perfect pairing. As someone who loves spice, I loved the flavor of this dish. The service was also fantastic. We loved our server, he was so attentive and engaged. All making Tiffins a great experience! Pricey but that's Disney for you.
Our experience at Tiffins at Disney’s Animal Kingdom was wonderful. The timing of our reservation meant we entered the park just as most people were leaving and as dusk fell. From starters of pork belly and squash, to our mains including the sensational butter chicken and melt-in-mouth ribs, the food was superb. Drinks were also good with interesting options, including cocktails and a beer flight pairing. The showstopper was the Lion King desert that was a delight to see and taste. Service was exemplary - some of the best we’ve experienced anywhere - and we’d have no hesitation dining here again and recommending you do so (even if that makes reservations even harder to secure!) What’s more, our walk out of the deserted park allowed us to take some beautiful pictures in front of the iconic Tree of Life.
