The sign outside the restaurant suggested utilizing the mobile app. After ordering on the app we were waiting in line forever, while ironically, those who didn’t use the mobile app were seated more swiftly. Turns out the host, Michael, was not sitting individuals at tables on the mobile app side because the correct number of individuals would not fill all the seats. What?!?! You have a line literally going out the door and you won’t allow a party of 4 sit at a 6-top, because it’s only 4 people?!?! Another couple ordered mobile pickup and were stuck in our same line; Michael didn’t allow them to bypass people to simply pick up their food. They definitely need someone else running the host stand in the future.
Wasted TWO AND A HALF HOURS here. Line was broken up and didn’t look terribly long, but half of the restaurant was closed to help them prep mobile orders. Because of this seating was backed up, so after waiting 1.5 hours in line just to ORDER we were seated after a commotion trying to find us a seat. Then, took an additional 35 minutes for one turkey legs with fries and 2 sides to come out. Let me repeat: 2.5 hours we spent here, which could have been spent waiting for rides. What we PAID to come here for. Cashier tried to deny my mom her Comcast/NBC Employee discount as well. Cherry on top of the cake right! Manager seemed sympathetic when we complained but did not do anything to ameliorate what happened.
Wouldnt even give this place 1 star. I just ordered a side of fries to go - should take them max. 2 mins to give them to me, right? No. There was NOBODY in line & I still waited 20 MINUTES!! I had to ask staff members 2x when I will finally get my food because come on...it's just fries to go and a tray full was already waiting there behind the counter. Super disappointed.
Trifecta!— This place ended up being our favorite restaurant on a recent and first visit to the parks. It checked all three boxes for us: Good food, friendly service, and really cool dining ambiance.— We appreciated the jackfruit option. The texture was perfect and it was well seasoned.— While the tropical dining rooms were great, we opted for the outdoor terrace overlooking the river adventure ride… really set the mood for this theme park junkie.— So nice we visited twice.
I was so excited to get the turkey leg, but I was quickly disappointed with the turkey leg being flavorless. My corn on the cob was good.
The food is delicious and the scenery is so much more pleasant than most of the other places to eat in the park.
Had the turkey leg and it didn't taste good at all. Tasted like ham or maybe even artificial meat (Beyond Meat?) and had a lot of bones in it with a tough skin. They would be better off serving a sliced turkey sandwich. Healthier and tastier. Cafeteria style service that was slow.
The IPA is fine. Although it is a bit pricy $12.
I've eaten here several times and am always surprised at the quality considering its a theme park. I've eaten the chicken, ribs, potatoes, and key lime pie. The key lime pie was my favorite but all were pretty high quality.
The service was great!!! The Poseidon burger was amazing. The flavors and the presentation was everything. Def 5 ⭐️
