Ate breakfast here after our one night stay in the hotel. We opted for the buffet given that the individual items were coming from the same place and were fairly pricey individually. Really plentiful and delicious food (seemed genuinely good quality) but of course The Kitchen itself if temporarily closed for refurb, so it is all served out of a corridor / function room. Did not impact the taste but did take the shine off the experience - hopefully normality back soon. All wait staff extremely friendly and helpful too, couldn't do enough for us.
Very nice staff everywhere at the Hard Rock -- including here! The live music at the pop up was just terrific too! The food was only ok and slow in coming -- The BBQ meat was fatty, and the mac and cheese was gummy (and no burnt ends -- just cheese glue). Good spacing between tables and a nice attempt to provie a moderate food venue on site while renovations are underway at "The Kitchen."
Had a nice meal only thing that spoilt it was the air conditioning. Restaurant was like an ice box.
Was surprisingly unimpressive! I thought I was going to experience Hard Rock-level brunch dining but it did not meet the expectations. I gave it a 3 star because of our server David who was very friendly always making sure we had everything we needed. The live musician IG handle @Alex Cole Music was also stellar! The food was luke warm at best and the selections were slim pickings. Some of the hot plate lids were broken so it wasn’t a comfortable experience trying to get the food. The hot chocolate was watery and tasteless - not a fan.The only food highlights were the mimosas and chocolate covered strawberries - but kind of hard to get those wrong. For the cost of brunch per person, it was not worth the money in my opinion. Will not be visiting here when visiting Orlando.
The restaurant was empty and felt a bit dead. The coffee was straight from starbucks next door. The chicken burger did taste good though. Staff was friendly.
This was our 1st time at The Kitchen and we liked the friendly staff, the food was good. Only suggestion is to put signs up on how to get in the restaurant for Handicapped People, especially now that the hotel has construction going on. We definitely will return in the future, now that we know our way around.
We went for the Breakfast Buffet it was incredible the selection was amazing. The waiter made sure and remove our plates as soon as we were done.
We visited ‘The Kitchen’ as a couple. It’s situated in the Hardrock Hotel. The restaurant actually looks quite nice, however the food is at best just about average. The food comes up very quickly, obviously to get you in and out. It’s extremely overpriced for what it is. There’s far better places in City Walk for much less money. Sadly we won’t be returning.
Allie in The Kitchen was the nicest bartender/server I’ve had during my whole 12 day trip down to Florida! Very sweet! Even recommended a very very amazing addition to the French 75 drink which made it 10x better! The Kitchen is a perfect place to go for dinner/drinks and even breakfast before/after visiting the parks! If I could give it 10 stars I would!!
Good meal. Great server.
