Decent halal guys location. Their new herb beef is pretty good. It was easy to order online and the food was ready when we got there. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous. Falafels are decent and not too dry. I'd come back when I'm craving this kind of food.
Truly excellent experience!! Phenomenal food, superb service (thank you Johnny!) and clean, cool seating area. We cannot say enough good things about The Halal Guys in Lake Mary. You gotta go!
The fries are great. The falafel is great. The hummus is great. The white sauce is good while the red sauce is extremely hot and flavorful. But the chicken and rice and gyro - aka, the entree? Eh. Not very flavorful. Five stars for the sides, three for the dishes. Be sure to get red sauce if you can handle it. Prices are very fair.
It was the worse Gyro I’ve ever had. Place was empty at 12:30 on a Saturday. Should’ve been the sign. The bread was old or had been frozen, it broke up while eating. The meat was pre-cut, dry and flavorless, it was like eating a napkin, just terrible. Sauce didn’t taste like anything. The tomato And lettuce was fresh and probably the only thing that was good on the sanduíche. The server seemed like she was miserable and not friendly and the other employee was sitting chatting with a friend. Bathroom was relatively clean but no paper to dry hands. They charged us .50 cents for olives and didn’t bother to tell us it was an up charge . My wife got sick when we got home. Not going back .
The food is so good I had to go home and take a nap after. Talk about a food coma bruh…. Adolfo is the man here! Let him take care of y’all.
ordered online and food was ready when I arrived. Food was pretty good although the falafel was too dry. The hot sauce is AMAZING. I will be going back to try with a different protein rather than the falafel because that really was the only disappointing part of the meal.
Johnny absolutely killed it from every aspect: quick and delicious plates for my whole family packed with care for my drive back to Tampa. The friendly passion for the food and customer service he was providing, is how this chain has such loyal customers. From my time in NY to my time in Tampa now, I will drive any distance or wait any line for that quality of service and care. Food was delicious as expected, but going above and beyond for fans of the chain is that extra step that was greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work Johnny!
Same great taste as New York. Very welcoming staff. Ordered 5 gyros but they charged 4 by mistake, wanted to pay for 1 gyro but they didn’t take. Very good service. Must visit if you are in area. 30 minutes drive from theme parks but worth it. Less expensive and good quantity food.
First time dining at this location & I’ll definitely be a regular from now on! I got the combo gyro platter & the flavors were just explosive! Even the chocolate chip cookie was tasty. The staff were super friendly & helpful, especially Tre who prepared my order, I wasn’t sure what I wanted & he helped me pick a dish that is now a favorite of mine! I wish I could give this place 10 stars!
Johnny is amazing he goes above and beyond for his customers. I work for a store in the plaza of the business so this is my often go to spot for lunch. I am never disappointed between the big portions and the friendly staff to outstanding customer services. Most importantly. The food is DELICIOUS.
